  1. I don't think they would ever run coasters, or any type of thrill ride, in the snow
  2. Do you think Cedar Fair will ever invest in a Winter Season for their seasonal parks in the near future?
  3. Stuff like this has happened more than once at KI. I'm sorry to say this but you really can't trust anyone these days.
  4. YoungStud, please read the following... http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?/topic/4128-terms-of-service/
  5. You know you are doing something wrong when you say:
  6. I don't know if this was discussed yet, but what do you think the track will be like? Terrain, Figure 8, Compact, etc.
  7. Be there tomorrow @ Soak City. Look for an army bag and two dark haired dudes S.O.B. who likes to narrow it down..
  8. Met with some zoo teens today. I was there early so I got to meet some peanuts pals before I rode Diamondback then I proceeded to The Beast. Since there were people in line i had to get back in line versus staying on the train. However, I got to ride train #1 3 times in a row! Coincidence? Then I rode the train then later met with my group around the Eiffel Tower. We went up to get a nice breeze, then we went straight to Firehawk. White Water Canyon twice in a row then Diamondback. After that, I bought a turkey leg at Snake Pit, said hi to Mr. Helbig, then met up with my group outside of Rivertown Potato works. Then we boarded the train and chilled out in Soak City until the storm rolled in. We re boarded the train. After that we rode train #1 again on The Beast. Then WAM! It was like God broke open the dam up of Heaven because there was a loud boom!! then came the hard rain. There was so much lightning in the air so my mom came and picked my up because most of my friends had already left. Photos coming soon.
  9. It was a millennium flyer. Sorry for all the confusion.
  10. Not trying to pull a Big Sexy, but my mom picked me up from KI and we were driving home south on 71 and I saw a semi heading north. The semi trailer had a timberliner train picture on the left and a wild mouse car picture on the right of the trailer. I didn't have time to take a pic so you don't have to believe me.
  11. Can it have dinosaurs? Then at the end there's a t-rex roaring before you drop? Oh wait, sorry, Orlando..
  12. y'know, that actually sounds pretty cool! Especially if you're a junkie...
  13. That's more certain than an indoor giga..
  14. Today at the Zoo talking to a Co-volunteer Her:Did you see the new coaster Kings Island is building? Me: yeah, its gonna be pretty cool. Her: Yeah, it's going to be a B and M giga coaster named Banshee Me: where'd you get your info? Her: Screamscape Me: that's not exactly an accurate site. I think its going to be a B&M Invert Her: No! It's going to be a large giga coaster! It's going to be put in the Son of Beast area Me:I'm still certain it's going to be an invert Her: It's going to be purple and black and indoors Me: Indoors? How can a giga coaster be indoors? Her: No! It's going to be a B and M giga-invert! Me:
  15. Its a rare moment when Terp makes an error. I'm very disappointed in you Terp
  16. All coasters have onride photos except for Surf Dog, Flying Ace Ariel Chase, Racer, Backlot Stunt Coaster, Invertigo, Flight Deck, Adventure Express and Racer. So you wanted to visit to the Island did you? Well go ahead But seriously, you picked a great choice to want to visit KI. As you drive down I-71, you will see nothing but fields until you pass a water park called The Beach. Then BAM! Past the fields and the trees lies Kings Island, the largest Amusement/water park in the Midwest. You see a humongous green tower as well as a colorful coaster/ tower skyline that is priceless. I recommend going up into the Eiffel Tower after your picture in front of the fountains. At 1/3rd the scale of the actual tower in Paris, it gives you a full view of what Kings Island has to offer. I recommend the Reds Hall of Fame Grille, the newest restaurant right next to Diamondback. Outside the park is just a Bob Evans, a skyline and just some ordinary restaurants. Oh and you have to try some blue Ice Cream. KI's coasters in a nutshell The Beast- World's longest wooden roller coaster and is probably one of the best Diamondback- tallest, fastest, and meanest coaster at KI (love that ride) Flight of Fear- its inside, its extraterrestrial, but it's not like Disaster Transport in any other way Firehawk- board a coaster that lets you fly Racer- The ride that created a new era of coasters Vortex- like Corkscrew on steroids Adventure Express- a really great mine ride with a surprise at the end Flight Deck- similar to Iron Dragon but still is fun, (if you mind the walk ) Invertigo- it's right next to the front gate and is a must ride coaster Backlot Stunt Coaster- ride in a mini cooper simulating a stunt ride Flying Ace Ariel Chase- Kid's inverted coaster Great Pumpkin coaster- the smallest and most kid-friendly coaster at KI Woodstock Express- a mini wooden coaster Surfdog- you surf along a very unique coaster Cedar Point cups? Nope sorry
  17. Now that I think about it, there are many many clones in the coaster world, yet they are all so different
