  1. Were you going to say 'SON OF A BACONATOR!' ?
  2. Maybe we just need a decoder to solve this mystery. Remember kids, drink your ovaltine.
  3. Apparently, some people would beg to differ..
  4. ^^^^Those type of of coasters tend to do that. That's why Diamondback has an abundance of airtime
  5. Why are you even here if all you do is complain about stuff?
  6. One thing that has struck me. Is the train shut down?
  7. I agree. Some inverts give me vertigo like Raptor. But when it comes to big name Amusement Parks, Kings Island is the only park that doesnt have a full circuit invert. Look at Carowinds, Dorney, KD, Cedar Point, CW, Knotts, and even Worlds of Fun; they all have a full circuit invert. Kings Island being one of the top three parks in the chain and not having a B&M Invert is pretty silly to me.I wouldn't mind an invert so that KI can stay "competitive"( I like that term), but I also love how its diverse collection of rides makes it different from the other parks even through there are some cloned rides. spot on! A nice new, unique layout maybe? Not maybe but hopefully Lets just erect a fake mountain while we're at it. Oh wait that's already been done...

  9. I love how they put Beast on the truck!
  10. Is there be a possibility that the storage shed could be right behind slingshot?
  11. My friend is convinced Vortex is sinking. No matter how many times I punch him in the arm, he still believes it
  12. Can you say this for sure? I swear I saw a green smokestack more than once. How could you have seen a green smoke stack? They're both black except for the brass on #12. The green engine is ordinarily the first of the two out during the day and normally the last one to be put away if both operate on the same day.
  13. Ben Mang, an engineer, told me that #12 is the first of the two built and is the most powerful. However, seeing that it was the first one built, it had some flaws that were tweaked when they built #19. I know there is a 1/2 grade somewhere along the track but it seems like both locomotives have problems occasionally on that crossing section of track. A little insight on the KI engineers.
  14. Looks like we got another case of Boomerang Bay itis....
  15. Water Parks have a theme all their own. They could be tropical like the Beach, outdoorsy like Great Wolf Lodge, or even just a plain beach theme like Soak City. I love the Great Wolf Lodge's water park because it is so unique how they mix the great outdoors feel with the fun of a water park. Whats your favorite type of water park?
  16. sorry, I couldn't find any. here are some pics and vids. Here's Olaf Most pics and vids were of the trains since we were going to both the main park and Soak City multiple times throughout our day. I didn't complain and it sure beats walking.
  17. I can think of like 40+ coasters that contradict your statement.
  18. #12 was down last Tuesday evening when I was there. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vTzOCD_jSOk
  19. The Beast ride-op said he was Batman. Totally ridiculous. Had he worked for Six Flags, I would have believed him....
  20. ^ill look to see if I took any. Today was a nice day to go to KI. My friend Bryan and I went to DB while my other friend, Tyler, proceeded to Flight of Fear. We got on DB early as well as Vortex. Then we met Tyler at Flight of Fear then rode it again. We went to ride AE then boarded the Kings Island and Miami Valley Railroad to go to Soak City. I went to rent a large locker until I saw the price $21! I know that the lockers by FoF were cheaper so we reboarded the train and got a large locker for $12. Little did I know that there were a set of lockers in Rivertown. We then reboarded the train and swam in SC for about 3 hours. We walked back to the main park to get some pizza before riding all the water rides. Then Bryan and I waited a good 30 minutes in line for The Beast. It was hilarious because the ride-op was talking like Batman into the mic. After that my feet were killing me. I never did have a chance to take pics of the construction from the tower but I did get some pics of Olaf and some cool train footage from cool angles. Vids and pics coming soon.
  21. Also it would be next to flight deck. An invert next to a suspended.
  22. Why does everybody always think a new coaster is always going to be a dive machine?
  23. Going tomorrow. Any photo requests? I'm gonna try to get as many construction photos as I can.
  24. I'd love a B&M invert. It'd fit right in with the whole Banshee theme.
