I am very sadened by this. I'm in a hotel right now (until Sunday) and I loved reading what I missed while gone for the day. The topic is only getting cleaned up, yes. But why?
Besideds the tresspasser, why is it getting "cleaned up".
I wouldn't be surprised if its being cleaned up to delete every single post related to the false claim (we all know what the claim is).

I know this is from a Cedar Point employee, but does anyone think Cedar Point would every announce something from a sister park?
No. It seems that CP's past CIJ presents have been discounts on passes and other stuff.
I have never seen so many members on this site at this time of day.
All it takes is one person to say they saw something (even if they are lying).
Oh, okay. I'm new to the industry.

^But it was happening when I few other threads too; doesn't happen that much any more so it probably was the traffic to the site in general.

Parking lot gates open at 8:30...no pictures?
Maybe because no one from this site is there yet.....or they are in the process of posting pictures....using a mobile KI Central isn't the best.
Which is surprising because of the amount of people implying they'd do anything to see if the rumored track/support arrival was true.
Maybe the park has some sort of barricade set up that you can't see from the parking lot (which would probably be unlikely)? Just a random guess.

Um, surveys that show you stuff that hasn't been released to the public invariably start off by requiring you to accept a non-disclosure agreement with stiff penalties for violation. Whoever leaked these images is probably going to be in HUGE trouble with Darien Lake when they track down who it was.
The person who posted the pics on TPR said there was no mention of having to keep the email a secret. These images were apparently sent to all season pass holders and questions asking if they would want a wooden roller coaster, tell their friends about it, etc; so I don't know how many pass holders there are but a lot of people must know about this already (expecially when its already on Screamscape).
That's odd that there would be no mention of keeping this a secret. Very odd. Consider me intrigued.
I honsetly wouldn't be suprised if this is to throw people off....though it could and likely will happen. And who would ever think of putting a Wing Over on a woodie!?!?

Seems like Darien Lake will likely be building a wooden roller coaster with inversions next year along with a possible resturant.
None of this has been offical announced....this is part of a survey that the park sent out to season pass holders recently.
This could even be for 2015 instead of 2014...

^PR department will have lots of work for the next few days.
On a more serious note, I'm still trying to figure out how it could of rolled back down the lift hill. How can anti-rollbacks fail???

^You could of made it a little bit more clear in your initial post, but oh well, life moves on....
Oh, and just an update for everyone, still no permits visible to the public have been filled by Kings Island for track.

Gatekeeper track went from the plant to the park visible to anyone who drove by (no container) so I highly doubt the containers are for this KI project....unless KI wants to really really really keep the coaster a sealed secret....

GK was labeled as WI-F, FOTR was labeled as WI-E so there is no loophole.

When I worked at the park each ride had a 3 digit section number. Action Zone rides were the 600's. I'm not sure if SOB was 670 or not, but it did open in 2000 and is 29 (out of service code) forever. That was my thought when I saw the number and it would be pretty strange for a ride that replaces SOB to have those numbers as a barcode....almost paranormal...like a ghost or something.
It's clear that the numbers were referring to the Heide Park Wing Coaster.

CSF can make about 12-15 track pieces in a week. I don't know how many pieces make up an average roller coaster, but look at Gatekeeper, they started manufacturing in the Fall...
