Did they get to use the shiny new evacuation system?
Probably not as it wasn't mentioned in the article. I'm pretty sure the evac system if only used if the park cannot bring the carriage back down within a set time frame; I wouldn't be surprised if it would only be used in situations like Knott's were riders are stranded for 3 hours. Afterall, I believe it does take some time to get the evac system to the ride. I know at Canada's Wonderland, the evac platform is stored about 100-200 meters away from the ride, six employees have to push the giant platform to the ride, pull it around the tower, and then go up.

I would venture to guess that a quick call to CSF would clear up their views on whats trespassing on their property and what isn't. One could even inquire about a tour of the facility(which to me sounds awesome).
Want a tour? Just click here: http://newsplusnotes.blogspot.ca/2008/12/scott-carol-present.html

I was at Kings Island the other day, and the teaser signs had tape over a previous quote on the teaser like the prop has been used before.
We figured out a long time ago that there was a spelling error when the signs were first printed out.

Just when they think they got the problems fixed with this ride after closing it in September....this happens. Biggest Mondial fail ever.

Hey jayblazer is it ok for screamscape to use your photos?
I'm gonna guess you sent Lance the same info that I did and got a response asking if the pictures were yours and if not, he needs permission. Am I correct?

A few pages back some of you were saying that having a water fountain with the ride name on it would be awesome. Well, meet Leviathan's plaza!

^I swear it didn't....oh well, looks like I was wrong (but still right about Leviathan )

At this time of year it's safe to say its going to Kings Island, i remember when Diamondback was built the storage shed was the first to be built and these are supports for that. Expect an announcement within the week.
A week? Your kidding right. Unless the park will announce it without warning one morning I highly doubt that (But this is just my opinion).

I see no label. Just page 11.^It wasn't on Gatekeeper, Behemoth, or Leviathan...

Leviathan's label
There are two pictures in rows 4 and 5.
@THE_BEASTmaster: I tried that too and it gives an error message.

Thank god it's a b&m invert its going to be good, i would have been disappointed with a b&m giga....
We don't even know where its going...

^ Someone on themepark review posted a picture of the tag up close and it says x-works. X-works refers to Cedar Fair
X-Works refers to everyone, not just Cedar Fair...the labels used to say the park name but after enthusiasts kept spilling the beans, so B&M had to change the customer name so no one would find out.

^The code "IC2-J10..."
IC2=Inverted Coaster. The number 2 is there because they ran out of letters to use for the second part of the code (they are at J for the second time now).
The thing that worries me is that the label has the country of origin parameter....which is always seen on out of North American coasters...

^Click the grey boxs and save the picture...you can see them then.

THAT IS FOR AN INVERT!!!
(IC2=Inverted Coaster)

^^Are you talking about a 4D or giga?
-
B&M has been working on a 4D design for some time now.
How do you know B&M is designing a 4D coaster again?

Once b&m hit 300', they won't have an issue building another. That excuse is lame that they did wonderland a favor. B&m did not want 25million to walk out the door. It was time anyway. 12 years after going over 200'.
Actually, it was a "favor". Had Wonderland been built 2 miles farther away from Cedar Point, Wonderland would have been able to get a B&M Invert and not have to settle with the SLC. The roller coaster was in its early planning stages when Walter called up the former GM saying that he wouldn't be able to built the park an invert.
Being a Wonderland fan (its my home park), do you know how fustrating it is not to have have what could have been a great invert all because of a 2 mile difference!?!?

I'm starting to think that the unpainted track outside we saw a couple of months ago is for Kings Island.
If only we got a picture of the label on that track....(we would know the model and if is going to Heide Park). It wouldn't tell us 100% if its going to KI, but it would narrow down the possibilities.

^Trains are delivered after the announcement you know! I was talking about by just looking at the track.
-
But how do you tell the difference between a hyper and floorless?
-
If indeed the coaster for KI is a B&M, we will be able to tell what it is based on the cross ties.
Or we can just look at the label...

Starting to Decode 2014
in Kings Island

You do realize that August 3 is Saturday...IMO, that's some pretty bad PR/marketing to announce a major attraction on the weekend.
