  1. Today, at approximately 2:40 p.m., the Flight of Fear roller coaster was shut down after smoke was detected inside the ride. Kings Island emergency personnel responded quickly and guests were safely evacuated from the ride and returned to the park. Initial investigations indicate the smoke was caused by an overheated motor. As always, the safety of our guests and associates remains our number one priority.

Thanks Don! Will the ride re-open today?

  2. I think that's meant to say "in awhile"...

...since 2009, most likely, because that was the last time Halloween landed on a weekend.

Thanks for that! I thought it may have happened before, but I forgot :P

  3. I can't remember where I read it, but something I've read said Raging Water Rapids will be back this year.

I'll be totally honest: as much as I liked Kentucky Kingdom this year, I'm doubtful T3 alone will be enough to get me back there in 2015. Even a simple flat ride addition would make it significantly more likely. Twisted Twins, though... Here's hoping they make it to 2016.

I think it was going to open this year, As they got the new rafts in over the winter.

And as you said I probably wont be going till Twisted Twins is back. But hey, If they make T3 less rough, I may just go...

  4. ^ I think those are there year round as the shed they store it in is there. If you ride The Racer during August, You can see the Gravestones they use on I-Street and around the park.

  5. Usually, Weekdays in early June are not that crowded. But, Since Banshee is new this year, Crowds may be a bit bigger then normal. I would do Banshee First to get that done as this may get bigger lines towards nighttime. All I say is, Have fun!

  6. It is apparently a cut throat sport trying to secure a chair in the shade when they drop the rope.

Wouldn't you say its a "Cut Throat Cove" To Get a chair?
