I have not heard anything for Kings Dominion.
That doesn't mean nothing will happen.

The coaster wars will continue. There will also be new types of rides. Imagine an X² type of ride, but the seats spin all ways, like a human hamster ball.

The Voyage is my favorite wooden coaster. I do not think it is rough (it is, just not the "ow, my back hurts. I can't ride this again." kind of rough), and love the spaghetti bowl and airtime.

How odd (no pun intended). I strongly prefer the even-numbered rows (except row 1, obviously) for a more open-air experience.I much, much prefer the odd numbered rows on Diamondback. I've ridden every seat on the coaster numerous times. Far smoother, less vibrations (some call it rattles) in the odd rows.

Tony just tweeted something very interesting. Could this be the start of a large 2015 project?
Hmm... Maybe. I would have to say no, for two reasons.
1. Gatekeeper was built just one year ago.
2. It is a marking on concrete. Don't get too excited. Probably just repairing pavement, or leftover marks from Gemini Midway Construction.

How odd. I ride Maverick ONLY in the front, Millennium Force in either the very front or the very back (both bayside), Corkscrew, 5-1, Banshee, I vastly prefer the front, same for Diamondback. (and Volcano: The Blast Coaster...). As for Magnum, 1-3 please, or 1-1 or the very back.
As for Mantis and Mean Streak, the benches out in front are very nice....
For Diamondback, try 1-2. Very underrated. You still get a front-row view while not having to wait as long.

I say, add a slide complex on top of Rendezvous Run. Make it be like Vanish Point at Water Country USA. Link: http://watercountryusa.com/en/williamsburg/attractions/vanish-point/
Also add a toilet bowl to Mondo Monsoon, and either a traditional water coaster, or a Mack Rides or Intamin Water Roller Coaster.

Replace Firehawk with Flight of Fear, then you've got it right...
I love Flight of Fear. A very underrated ride.
I have to agree. Flight of Fear is 4th best. I was just talking about with most people, Firehawk is their 4th best at KI.

I remember seeing a souvenir cup from the late 80s where the top four depicted were The Beast, Vortex, King Cobra, and Racer.
KI's best four rides now can go toe-to-toe with almost every other park's, only ones it isn't comparable to are SFMM and maybe CP.
Kings Island: Banshee, Diamondback, The Beast, Firehawk
Cedar Point: Millennium Force, Maverick, Gatekeeper, Top Thrill Dragster
Magic Mountain: Tatsu, X², Goliath, Superman: Escape from Krypton

Usually for only a couple seconds before the catch car releases.
I was stuck for an hour.
I'd hate to be stuck that long in one of the rows climbing the hill backwards.... thats a killer if you know what i mean.
Luckily, I was facing forward (and in front row).

I was on Invertigo when it got stuck at the first lift yesterday (April 26th) and was wondering if this happens much.

Okay so i was just wondering if anyone else remembers hearing that Kings Island was supposed to get 2 new roller coasters/rides by 2015, i remember hearing about that in march and was wondering if anyone remembers this.
Not trying to start any new arguments/decoding
We did get 2 new ones(Banshee and Bat)

I don't think you will see Cedar Fair buy a HUSS Enterprise. Something about a Dollywood ride, a Giant Top Spin...
Also, I don't see that kind of money (your plan) invested in KI in the next decade. Perhaps, but not likely...
Maybe a Bayern Kurve instead.

I must have misled you. By coaster enthusiasts, I didn't mean ACE, I just meant meant anyone else who has ridden the coasters. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Ah yes, forgot about HUSS's recent "mishap". I also wasn't thinking over the next decade, more like the next 20 years.
