Delirium-The things only happen at night, after closing. He's pretty friendly though, just playing pranks on the employees. The newspapers said that he "loved attention", and the ghost stories seem to go along with that. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Fearsome-I always think of him when I'm at the Tower. I also did a little service at his grave. Such a tragic incident. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Spectrum: The fountain incident-the newspaper article that referenced the incident did not say how long after he jumped into the fountain he died. Thanks for clearing that up, though. SOB-thank you for bringing attention to that one as well! I actually never heard about that incident. Also, the article refers to Don Helbig as "Kings Island spokeswoman". Campground Murder-I have heard of this one as well, I do not count the campground as Kings Island itself. Toddler death-I haven't heard of this one, but I do know in 2010 a child was run over and killed by a bus at Disney World's Fort Wilderness Campground. You may be confusing this with Kings Island. -Ghost Guy Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Just throwing this out there-after visiting John's grave, as me and my aunt were driving through the cemetery trying to find the gates, she popped in a CD without looking. The first song that played was Night on Bald Mountain, which is the song in Disney's Fantasmic where the ghosts and demons dance for Chernabog. One of the opening shots in the Fantasia sequence is ghosts rising out of a graveyard, and that was the section playing as we were driving through the cemetery. I still don't know what that means. Rank Kings Islands roller coasters from best to worst
KIghostguy replied to zachman's topic in Kings Island
Here goes. Favorite coasters at Kings Island. 1. Banshee 2. The Beast 3. Backlot Stunt Coaster 4. Adventure Express 5. The Racer 6. The Bat/Flight Deck 7. Woodstock Express/Fairly Odd Coaster 8. Flying Ace Aerial Chase/Runaway Reptar 9. Vortex I'm too chicken to go on Diamondback, Firehawk, Flight of Fear, and Invertigo, and I haven't been on Little Bill's Giggle Coaster since 2009-2010ish. -
Anyone else realize that Houdelini was pretty much a really thin Great Garbanzo?

Thank you Frank for sharing your memories of that horrible and tragic night. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

So, wait: you all want me to post a "fact-check" post of Shaggy's original post?

Lucky! One of my dreams (though I don't think it will ever happen) is to walk through Haunted Mansion with the lights on.

Terpy, I agree. However, all the newspaper accounts report that John McCann and John Harter were pronounced dead on the spot. The reason why the victims of Black Sunday were not pronounced dead on the spot were because when they were lifted into helicopters, they were breathing. You do have an excellent point, though.

Yea, I heard that vandalism was pretty prevalent as well. I guess people thought that since this isn't Disney, the consequences woudn't be as big as if they had vandalized, say, Pirates of the Caribbean.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Never mind, I think I figured out how to quote. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Thank you stashua. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

TB, how do you quote? Oh, and Terpy, in the case of KI deaths, all of my sources are newspaper articles written at the time of the accident. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Terpy-like I said, 99% of Shaggy's info is correct, except that people have been pronounced dead inside the park. I also was never intending to pick a fight, particularly with Shaggy, I just love clearing up misinformation.

I thought I was the only one who did that! I always think this is "Cleaning up Tower Johnny" too [emoji23][emoji23] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

He's buried in Oak Grove Cemetery in Delaware, if you'd like to pay him a visit. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

He is, but with less mystery involving how he died, Existential. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

If anyone's experienced any paranormal activity around the Tower, feel free to share as well. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

If anyone reading this was at KI Grad Night in 1983, feel free to share your memories of that horrible day. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Thanks Maestro! Yeah, I thought your memory would be foggy, PT has been closed for 13 years. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Awesome! Thanks Maestro! So, no Williard Warbler, Lionel Burymore, etc.? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I don't know, maybe . Most of his info is correct, but Tower Johnny, John McCann and possibly the anonymous fountain man and Thomas Cahill were officially pronounced dead in the park. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
