Gordon Bombay
hmm, no information on if the former Coaster EXT that used to be held at Geauga Lake will be returning to another Cedar Fair park.
Browntggrr
I was wondering myself if CF was going to add KI to the mix for Coastermania much like they did with GL. But those extra 2 hours of driving for a KI/ CP Coastermania vs. GL/ CP would really grind on you. But can you imagine that weekend? June 6th- Be at CP no later than 5:15am. ERT's till after 8:30am. Q & A at noon. Lunch at 2:00pm Sleep?? from 3:15 till 8:00pm. ERT's from 10:00pm till after 12:30am And then drive to KI and do the same thing on a Saturday? Ouch... Even if CF would do a Coastermania at KI on Thursday, it would really deprive you of sleep. I'm not sure if I would want to do it.
Raptor66
Sweet, that sounds like a good birthday present for me! (My 17th birthday happens to be June 6th.)
CoastersRZ
I attended Coastermania 2007. It was one of the longest days I`ve ever spent in an amusement park, ever! The 6am rides on Millenium Force were awesome. It was also odd walking down the midways around 9am because there was simply no one there! Then winding up the day on Magnum just after midnight makes for one long day. I definitely recommend the event. I will not be attending in 2008, as I only purchased a Kings Island Gold Pass and will not have time to take a vacation due to my co-op job in spring/summer. (I don`t get time off on co-op jobs for vacation, unfortunately).
DropZone99
I plan on going, but when it says " Coaster Mania! tickets can only be purchased by guest by presenting a current, valid, or official membership card from a reconized amusement park industry club or roller coaster club." Does KIC count? If not what club would i need to join to get in? And does it cost money, how much?
