Oldiesmann
Due to getting the day off of work this coming Sunday (May 2nd), I am planning to make a trip up to KI to get my season pass processed and then spend the afternoon at the park. When I get there, do I just show the parking attendant my season pass receipt so I don't have to pay for parking?
gigacoaster2k
Kat and I did the same thing when we went to get our passes processed. They scan a bar code on your voucher that will end up being the same bar code on the back of your season pass. They will not charge you for parking if it is a gold or platinum pass voucher. No worries.
Oldiesmann
That's what I figured, but I wanted to make sure. Thanks!
clbehymer
I actually had to pay the $10 and then get reimbursed at the sales window once I had my pass processed. Maybe I just got an employee that didn't know to scan the paper.

Maybe I just got an employee that didn't know to scan the paper. That happened to me only once last year, and it was on opening day. I refused to pay the parking fee. I argued with them until they scanned the bar code and it showed up as a platinum pass. They then apologized, and pointed me to Gold Pass parking.
