Braves0511 Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 I stumbled across this website this morning, and got to poking around. I've never seen it mentioned, so I thought I'd share. It has tons of really interesting information, and neat pictures from construction to the the present. As is the case with a lot of sites "off the beaten path," it doesn't seem to be updated often, but what is there is great stuff. http://www.cplerr.com/ Quote
CoastersRZ Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 That is a very informative website. I especially liked reading on the history of the engines. I did not know that Cedar Point and Disney World traded engines at the end of the 1990s. Thanks for sharing! I`ve always been fascinated with trains. I`m glad that Kings Island still has their train. Some parks like Kings Dominion and Carowinds removed their trains many many years ago. Quote
The Interpreter Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 ...and other parks like Six Flags Over Georgia had their steam locomotives converted to diesel. Sigh. Quote
