IndyGuy4KI
HW is going for another record setting year. What do you think? News story here! http://www.fox41.com/story/14869448/always-something-new-at-holiday-world?clienttype=printable
XGatorHead 8904
I'm doing my share to help them. I typically only go once a year on opening day, but this year I'm going five times. Well, only four of those days are helping them reach their record since the first visit, for the Bert the Conqueror taping, the park wasn't open to the public. CoasterGeek101
Never been there, but I am glad a little park like that is popular.
CoastersRZ
And if you noticed the very last part of that article. Holiday World is always looking to the future. In August it will announce its newest attraction for next year.
74Gibson
^Yeah I just wiped drool from reading it. Not to mention reports of blue Intamin looking supports arriving at Hershey. A park that had a pic of a blueprint set leaked that had footers similar to the ones for I305's lift hill. I'm really getting anxious for some announcements! KI FANATIC 37
You know I have heard so many good things about this park but have never visited it. How would you all who have been there describe it?
IndyGuy4KI
Clean, friendly, very reasonable in park items including food. I highly recommend it. I went for the very first time 2 seasons ago and make a point to go there at least once a year now. I really thought I would get bored with only 3 coaster, but they are such good coasters the quality makes up for the quantity. Now, I really was not taken in by Raven like other people tend to be, but Voyage just WoW's you every time you ride it.
d-lo775
You know I have heard so many good things about this park but have never visited it. How would you all who have been there describe it? Best amusement/theme/water park in the country. 3 awesome wood coasters, free parking, suntan lotion, and soda. You see the owners doing the same jobs as entry level employees and they are always willing to chat with anyone. A very clean park with friendly employees. Every guest is treated great. Not the biggest, but a lot of bang for your buck.
The Interpreter
And even the shows are fantastic in a cornball Terpy kind of way. Also, the fudge is not to missed. Good blue soft serve (ahem!), too.
Dieseltech20
I cannot wait for this Saturday already, all these positive comments I read everywhere are making it even worse, lol.
Oldiesmann
I've never been to HW either, but will definitely try to make it out there this season. Maybe I'll skip Camden and go to HW this year instead (since it's only 3 hours from here as well). I'll have to see what my finances look like in a couple months. The Interpreter
A very tough choice. Holiday World has far more to offer, both on quality and quantity. Camden may or may not be there when a next time comes. A very tough choice. If park history and going places you may never get to again is important to you, I'd pick Camden. If rides and today's fun are more important, I'd pick Holiday World. MOST readers here would make the latter choice.

Mrs. Gator won't particularly like that you've put that thought into my head though. She's starting to think that I've been to enough parks already this year (and yet what are all those red dates in my signature?)
