TTD-120-420
Has anyone on this site interned at KI or another Cedar Fair park before? How soon should resumes and stuff like that be sent in? I plan on sending in applications to pretty much every major amusement park in the country and already interviewed for Disney, but I don't know when the best time is to contact the other parks. KI-ORIG-EMP
Have you checked with your career office or department head at your college? Find out the department heads at the various amusement parks and send a resume to both them and the HR at each park. I know the IT and the marketing departments at Kings Island hires interns and other departments might also. Check the jobs section at each parks web site and click on those for further information. TTD-120-420
Yes, my college career services department was the one who hooked me up with Disney. They knew about that because Disney sends recruiters to our school along with many others. Other than something like that biting them in the butt, there isn't much help from the career services office. I guess I'm really just asking when is the best time to send in the resume. KI-ORIG-EMP
I know with Kings Island, they start accepting online applications in December. I would check it out and complete the online application and send in a resume or attach it on the online form. We know Don is the marketing manager and I would inquire with him if you want a marketing position. When I was at The Mount, our business department had contacts with Cincinnati Bell and AT&T just to name a few that we had internships with.

TTD-120-420
The first question the job registration form asks is if I have worked at a Cedar Fair park before. I volunteered at Cedar Point for two or three weeks in each of 2010 and 2011. Does that count?

TTD-120-420
It then asks for my employee number, which I was not given one, so no it does not count!
HTCO
Just put in the 'other stuff we wana know' box that you did volunteer at said park. (If that option is even available)
CedarPointer
I think on the first page where it has a check box next to each park you'd say yes, not the one where it asks if you're a returner.
