coasterjunkie
Has anyone done a VIP tour recently? We will only get one day in the park and are planning on going July 5th or 6th. Wondering is it worth the money or would the Fast Lane Plus be just as effective to get onto rides quickly. We are a party of 10 (2 non riders-infants). THANKS!

thegajone
I looked into Cedar Point's but never checked out KI's VIP offering. Wow, KI's is WAY cheaper and actually offers more than CP's does. I'd absolutely consider KI's if I was going on a Saturday or near a holiday.
Banshee Back VII
Welcome to KIC. Fast Lane gets cheaper the more you buy, but if your looking to create a once-in-a-lifetime experience, then VIP is the way to go.
coasterjunkie
Thanks for the input everyone! Looks like we may go ahead and splurge we live on the west coast and this will be our 3rd time to KI. We go to Disneyland a lot but enjoy KI more. Wish we could get lower airfare to get the fam to the Midwest more.
Gabe
Personally, I think the VIP tours offered by the Mouse are far better than anything KI offers. FL Plus will accomplish what you want to do minus the food and backstage tour. An all day dining plan is 29.99 so when combined with the FL plus ticket, you're still saving over $100 pp over the VIP Tour.
jcgoble3
Welcome to KIC! Since you don't live close and don't get here often, and if that weekend is your only option, I would definitely splurge on the VIP tour if you can afford it. Fourth of July weekend is probably going to be packed, likely Saturday more so than Sunday. Even with Fast Lane Plus, you may still have half-hour to hour waits. Have fun!
coasterfanatic83
I did a VIP tour on July 4th, 2012, and it was by far the best day I have ever spent at Kings Island. If it is in your budget, I will recommend it to anyone.
