Hurler is going down for extensive re-tracking and will reopen in 2017 I am a little lost in this thread. Unless someone accidentally cross threaded, how does Hurler being down for the season mean a RMC coaster at KI? IndyGuy4KI, scratching his head on this one!
Tr0y
The fact that Hurler is still around and not Shockwave is still mind boggling to me. There must be big plans for Hurler, especially now that it is closed for the entire season. The park itself is overdue for a coaster as well. Hoeter
^ I thought that as well when the announcement was made that Shockwave was no longer. Tear down one of the roughest wooden coasters I've ever ridden or the oldest un-modified stand up coaster still in existence? The former was my decision. I'd like to know specifically what they mean by "extensive rehab"
NoChickens
They can't hurt it. It did however, hurt me. I do hope it gets extensive TLC. I cringe at the thought of any coaster ending it's life span. I personally have said I'd not ride it again, but that doesn't mean I'd want to see it removed.
