On PKIC before the merge, we had it set at so when you get 1000 posts or so, you now have the power to change your own title. Well, when all was merged, recounted, and a cherry on top, a good amount of people had over 1000 posts. Well needless to say, Ryan played around with the rankings and I moved the ability to change your own member title a tad bit higher. Why do people have custom ones now? Well, these people were in the right place at the right time and got us before we made the ranking changes. We do change them upon request at our own discretion, but again, I don't want to change 1300 member rankings.
