FOF/Z 4-ever
Since PKI seems to be removing older rides and adding new ones and I see a lot of posts on here stating that they dont agree w/ what rides KI takes out, what do you think the next ride KI should take out and why? BoddaH1994
Nickelodeon Slime Zone.. it's gotta be.
kong fu guy
well to me i see a pattern. first they takeout rides that dont have a high rateing like the eagels and cars and the old log ride and king cobra. they all had low rateings now look who took there place ijst, delrium,tr tr. now see they have high rateings. so really its up to us to keep the rides. u have to ride alot that means full lines on alot of stuff. the next thing there takeing out probly will be top gun but we can change that by rideing top gun alot this year. if so slime zone will go. if anyones disagree with me plz put below what u disagree we me about. CoastersRZ
Actually, the removals of the rides with the exception of Kenton`s Cove Keelboat canal, were not influenced by (as you say ratings) popularity. In the case of King Cobra, and possibly the Tiques, rising maintenance costs and issues led to their demise. The removal of the Eagles was not a PKI decision but a corporate decision. KIBeast
They're going to remove restroom #3. Seriously, who knows what may go next. I surely don't. I don't think Top Gun or Vortex will be removed any time soon. Many people think there might be a future expansion over by FOF and SOB. Only time will tell. Jasper
It will probably be a ride that is taking up a lot of space. TOP GUN!!!
Scooby_Doo
Top Gun isnt going anywhere Its fine as is. I agree with BoddaH Slime Zone is a goner.
PKI_Diana
Slime zone and the theatre behind it.
FOF/Z 4-ever
do you really think they would get ride of the slime zone?? i thought a lot of kids liked that.
PKIDelirium
yeah, Slime Zone and that hardly-used Nick Theater is doomed.
FOF/Z 4-ever
yea, i guess it make some sense. i dont ever see that theater ever used.
PKI Punk
yeah, Slime Zone and that hardly-used Nick Theater is doomed. True, but Scooby's Ghoster Coaster may be gone too...
CoastersRZ
They used to use that theater a lot, but the last couple of years it has just been used for a large meet and great stage. The Slime Zone, while popular is out of place, since it require swimsuits and it is not located in Boomerang Bay. However, it does not take up a lot of space. Now if they removed the Slime Zone, and the theater and possibly Scooby`s Ghoster Coaster (I personally think this ride will not be around much longer based on its very limited capacity.) there would be a considerable amount of room for an expansion, but still not a ton of room for expansion, because of the picnic groves behind the theater. DeliriumDreamer
You guys would be surprized. Water maze (slime zone) is extremely popular, and has a very high capacity nearly every day that it operates- except for really really cold days. I really don't see watermaze leaving, it is fine right where it is. Just for the record- it is not out of place, because it is just a few feet from the walkway to boomerang bay. You can see the sign from it's exit. Besides, watermaze is perfect for sissies like me who think that the waterpark is too dirty/gruesome(b/c of some ppl)/filled with pee to give relief from the hot weather-without having to trek over to AZ and stand on the bridge of Congo. Of course, something could be said about every ride and how it attracts 'certain' kinds of people, because the same thing was said about scooters and tiques- but they were removed anyway. drewbari
It will probably be a ride that is taking up a lot of space. TOP GUN!!! Thank You! I agree it will be Top Gun.
Pirate of PKI
No guys, there is no way it is going to be Top Gun. Slime Zone.
thejoker8388
I really don't see it being Top Gun. You guys would be surprized how long the line usually is for it, its lines are a lot longer than some other coasters. I think it's a great coaster for people that want something bigger than Beastie but still aren't ready for Beast or SOB.
TRTR Guy
<Sarcasm> I think the next ride to be removed will be Delerium, its been there for a while, and last time i walked by it the queue was empty. </Sarcasm>
chaotichazard
I think slime zone next to go. I usually never see anyone in it so that probably gonna be deciding factor if people are in it or not.
HabloRM
Top Gun isn't going anywhere niether is Vortex. Not soon at least.
TRTR Guy
I don' think they'd take out watermaze, its a perfect place for little kids to go that may be too small or scared of the water park/ water rides in the hard park.
Legend Rider
Watermaze... AKA Slimezone, is a great attraction in a great part of the park... it will be the next to go...

I really think that it's out of place simply because (although it's close to the entrance to CDBB) it's still not in CDBB. Having kids take their shirts/shoes off in the regular area of NC is just a big hassle... not that there's anything wrong with the maze, it just seems like it would be a PERFECT kids area for CDBB. The only problem is, running the lines and pipeworks for something like that is no easy task, so that's why I think it'll end up scrapped in the end. Plus, the area seems like it would be perfect for a new small flat for any future NC expansion.

TheRickster
My best guess is that there wont be any big ride removals for awhile. But thats just a guess.

No, sorry dude, but on the average day, besides Adventure Express, you won't see Top Gun having a longer line then Face/Off, SOB, FOF, Racer, ect. thejoker8388
^ I said some and typically when I go it has longer lines than Adventure Express and racer. Which would make sense because that's the type of roller coaster it is. It's an intermediate ride, therefore it gets medium length lines. Last time I was at PKI the wait was 40 minutes for it, which is ridiculous, but I think it shows that it still has some popularity.
