PKD4LIFE
Once again... your opinion... idc what you say about pkd because I truly think its a great park. Other people may think that pkd is better than pkd and don't even say... "but more people like pki more than pkd" or don't even say... "its true" Thats some BS right there! You know pkd is a great park but with poor atmousphere. I also do know that you enjoyed your visit to pkd and had alot of fun on the rides. Just don't **** me off and everything will be just fine... ~Pera Keo~
Captain Nemo
And because PKD sucks in every aspect and will always be 3rd to KI and 2nd to Carowinds! Why would you say such a thing, Although I have not been to PKD I think it is a great park. Yes this is a PKI fan-site but what I think everyone needs to remember is that the P stands for Paramount, So we also are a fan site for every other "P"aramount park! So I think everyone should stop being just fans of only PKI, But fans of Paramounts parks in general. *man that sounds like what a teacher would say.*
Gordon Bombay
^hahah dude I was just kidding, i dont think PKD sucks at all, its just fun to see how PKD4LIFE takes it so seriously. I did enjy my visit to PKD and it was a fantastic park, but theres no way it beats PKI. I love how PKD4LIFE says "just dont P**s me off and everythign will be fine". What are you gonna do? Jump through the computer and beat me up?

PKD4LIFE
Both parks look good. It was packed on Sunday!!! Looking at the parking lot from Eiffel Tower was like whoa! Almost every single ride had a packed line like. Flight of Fear, Volcano, HyperSonic XLC, the kiddy coasters and SD&THM. Most of our flats had like a 10-20min wait and our woodies were packed but the water park. OMG! It was over 100degree out and they gave out free water! Rustbucket
PKD used to by my home park. Now it is PKI. I will compare them though. Anaconda versus Vortex - I prefer Vortex. I do like the lake tunnel and water splash on Anaconda. Grizzly versus The Beast - The Beast is my second favorite woody. Grizzly is my fourth. (Out of 24) Hurler versus Son of Beast - Son of Beast is the most intense woody. Hurler has rather good air time. Rebel Yell versus The Racer - Rebel Yell has longer tunnel ending. The Racer is a longer ride. Flight of Fear for both - PKD version has mid course brake that comes to near complete stop. PKI version is more intense. Kiddie areas - There is no question. PKI has a far superior kiddie section. Hypersonic (PKD) has the most intense launch I have ever experienced which includes TTD and Xccelerator. The force you feel from the launch was far greater than any other launches I have been on. Volcano (PKD) - Why isn't there more Intamin full track inverted? This is a great inverted. And no. Do not compare this to Raptor, Montu, Talon or anything B&M. This is truly a unique inverted coater. The second launch is not something you will expect. Top Gun (PKI) - one of the better suspended coaster. Rather short. Shock Wave (PKD) - Horrible stand up. I am not a fan of the Stand ups anyway. Remember King Cobra? One less corkscrew. Drop Zones for both - PKI version gyrates. PKD does not. Delirium (PKI) - My second favorite ride at PKI after The Beast. I can ride this one all day. Ricochet (PKD) - Wild Mouse ride. Better than Wild Cat at CP. Avalanche (PKD) - Very good and rare bobsled coaster. Far better than disaster transport at CP. Scooby Doo Haunted Castle/Mansion - I like PKD version better. Tomb Raider - I like PKI version better. PKD is more intense. Face Off (PKI) - I wish PKI has Volcano. Face Off does not do much for me and I am an Inverted fan. Italian Jobs: Stunt Track (PKI) - I love this ride even if the ride is short. I wish this is not closed down as much as it has been. Water Parks - Boomerang Bay is an excellent water park. PKD water park is rather average. Overall, I consider PKI a better park but there are positives to both parks. PKI has better wooden coasters, but PKD has better steel coaster selections. I grew up with PKD. I rode Grizzly and Anaconda when they first opened. It is too bad when they cut the trees around Grizzly.
Firefall Pkd
Water Parks - Boomerang Bay is an excellent water park. PKD water park is rather average. Don't forget to mention that PKD hasn't had their waterpark upgraded yet like PKI has. Of course PKI's should be better. The old portion of Waterworks is on its way out, only two of the 4 slide complexes in the old section were open. Not to mention they have closed the old kiddie area compleatly and are getting ready to tear it up. This much demolition, this early? Usually they don't even start this kind of stuff till late August...
PKD4LIFE
Did you just move there or are you a pki fan pretending that pkd was your homepark to say that pki is better?
Rustbucket
Did you just move there or are you a pki fan pretending that pkd was your homepark to say that pki is better? I used to live near Baltimore/DC area. I moved here about 2 and 1/2 years ago. Question for you though. Don't you think my description of the rides are rather accurate? Of course, they are my opinions. BTW, my favorite park is Cedar Point. As regard to your signature, I will say TRTR is better than TRFF although TRFF is quite intense. TRFF is outdoors so that it loses some of the dark ride quality.
PKD4LIFE
Oooo. Thats why you like TRTR better because its in the dark. Have you ridden TRFF at night with those fire blazing at you? Did you come for a visit to PKD this year? Below: Posted June 23, 2005. Tomb Raider's: Firefall watercannons blows into the night sky lit with fire!!!! PKD4LIFE
Uh... Volcano isn't even that bright because of the slightly far distance of TRFF and Volcano... they blow like only 3-5seconds of fire each 10mins. LOL! Below: Posted June 23, 2005. Above is the newly themed Tomb Raider Grill!!!!

RevengeofTheSmurfs
Is it just me or is Paramount running Tomb Raider into the ground I love the game and the movies, the ride at PKI but Paramount has other great movies to theme there rides to. PKD4LIFE
So... heres what I think pkd will be getting next year. I will number them as one as most likly and 8 as less likly to be getting next year in 2006. Please tell me what you think of the list after you read it. 1. B&M Floorless Coaster 2. Giant Frisbee 3. Nickelodeon Central Expansion 4. Boomerang Bay 5. Spongebob Squarepant's Crash Coarse Boating School Coaster 6. Italian Job: Stunt Track at PKI and PCW 7. Adams Family Coaster 8. Sledge Hammer Type of Ride at Paramount's Canada's Wonderland
King Bowser
I honestly think PKD is getting the IJ:ST because The Addams Family Reunion Coaster is in a current limbo status because when paramount pursued to get the attraction/amusement park rights from Barbara Colyton she holds the trademark and rights to The Addams Family she passed away leaving paramount and the addams family ride concept in a limbo because now paramount has have to have a series of meetings with her lawyers to obtain the rights and I do here paramount is close to getting the rights but I still wouldnt look for the addams coaster anytime soon maybe after the 2007 season and I hear when they get the rights PKI will be the first park to get the ride because PKI is the flagship park. PKD4LIFE
GigglingGreenGhost... do you want the Addam's Family Coaster? Anyways you never know because pkd is in more need of a coaster than pki right now. I don't think theres a chance of getting Italian Job: Stunt Track for pkd because paramount doen't usually make 2 of the same themed rides. Here... take a look. Drop Zone Stunt Tower PKD/ Drop Zone Stunt Tower PKI (two very close simular type of rides while all the other 3 got the smaller version.) Flight of Fear PKD / Flight of Fear PKI (pkd and pki are the only ones who have them.) Italian Job: Stunt PKI / Italian Job: Stunt PCW (for now pki and pcw are the only two parks who have them.) Rugrats Runaway Reptar PKI / Rugrats Runaway Reptar PC (not sure but are there any other parks who have them?) Ricochet PKD / Ricochet PC (two of these?) Hurler PKD / Hurler PC (I think theres only two of these.) Eiffel Tower PKD / Eiffel Tower PKI (only two in North America.) Face Off PKI / Invertigo PGA (both of the same rides with different names.) Racer PKI / Thunder Road PC (exact same tracks with different names and ones brown and the other white and are both wooden.) Flying Eagles PKD / Danny Phantoms Flyers PC (only two) SD&THM / SD&THC (rides cloned to every pp?) Boomerang Bay (every pp will be getting this when 2 doen't have it yet.) Nick Central Expansion (I know every pp will be getting this by the end of 2010.) Top Gun PGA / Top Gun PC Inverted (does PCW have this too?) Anything Else? Yeah I want to see The Addams Family Reunion happen something awful but what I said in my other post I was told that by a ''friend'' that I work with at PKI and he knows what he is talking about and PKD is likely to get IJ:ST or maybe that Top Gun:Supersonic coaster or maybe that Spongebob crash course coaster, but I do know for a fact that PKI will be the first to get the addams before any other park when the holders of the addams trademark and paramount settle on a deal. Paramount will be treating the addams concept the way they did with Tomb Raider:The Ride but the addams is suppose to be more of a highly themed fun-house with major hollywood effects. Don't Worry Some''THING'' special will come when you least expect it.
Firefall Pkd
It may be true that Paramount tends to only install two of each concept. But PKD4LIFE, you have to remember in your little list that Paramount didn't own the parks when many of the things you listed were built making it a mis-leading and false list. (really, do your research before you post). I just want to make a comment about PKD and the possibility of the IJST, I pray that it not be true. I've been reading the "your experiances on IJST" thread closely and it just sounds like a 90% let-down of a $29million investment. Not only that but if it did come to PKD, the theme would be ruined and disfunctional by year-2. Face it PKD and other Paramount Parks just can't deal with the theme up-keep, espically PKD. If they want to continue to make this work they need a new department in every park that just deals with keeping the themed rides up to par. Otherwise its just a wast of millions where it could have gone to a thrill ride which would draw people and give them that lasting impression. RevengeofTheSmurfs
Sorry to say this but I also have a funny feeling that IJ:ST is headed PKD's way but I have yet to ride and judge the IJ:ST for myself I have been told it isnt worth the time. PKD4LIFE
Oh Yeah... I forgot about some of the rides on the list. Anyways... for one I think the Spongebob Coaster is not coming in the middle of the Congo and The Grove area so that is Xed out. The nick expansion would not go there eather because its the middle of the Congo and The Grove and the same goes for Boomerange bay because it is already said the enterance to Waterworks will be located between Ricochet and Hurler and is already said the the waterpark is going to be moved behind Rebel Yell. So X for the Nick Expansion and X for Boomerang Bay. That leaves us with a coaster, the huss frisbee, Addams, IJST, and the Sledge Hammer type of ride. Gordon Bombay
HAHAHah a B&M floorless? Themed to what? Paramoutn wants to build themed rides that appeal to families. A B&M has about a 0.004% chance.
PKD4LIFE
Theme to Top Gun... duh! PKD is the only park without the Top Gun theme so I think its likely to happen.
Gordon Bombay
^Not a B&M floorless, that wouldnt work with a top gun theme.
