CoastersRZ
From what I understand, HB is split into four areas for the ride crews. There is north pie, east, west ad south pie. South pie is back by Dick Dastardly`s biplanes, the hand cars, the mini whip, and Scooby`s Ghoster Coaster, if I am not mistaken.

Skippy
Here's some new info for everyone: Just wanted to remind all you PKIfan boys and girls that to give your goodbyes to Hanna-Barbera Land because after this labor day weekend it wont be the same. Whats happening to HBL will NOT be a simple touch of paint and such it will be a major major over haul south pie and north pie will totally be redone for 2 new HUGE attractions and I hear that the Nick store will move into Nick Central next year so that means a new eatery will be in the spot that the nick store was in on international street.Plans could change because PKI is still takin up some time to get the plans just right but I just want you all to know NC will be HUGE in 2006 plus it will have rides for the WHOLE family. Anywho pay your respects. and... QUOTE (CoastersRZ @ Aug 30 2005, 08:22 PM) How many of the existing HB rides will be lost? Hopefully they keep most of them, especially the classics like the hand cars, the whip, and the mini tumble bug. And why will it be different after labor day? Because sometime after labor day PKI will go ''Public'' about 2006 and this weekend is the last weekend the kiddys and parents will see HBL as it is and the last time they will be able to ride the old HBL rides in the back section aka south pie. South Pie *is* going to get mostly removed a new attraction is taking up almost the whole lot. So is PKICentral going to have a Hanna-Barbera Land day or something (such as the flyers event)? We need to do something where we all get together and share memories and enjoy Hanna-Barbera Land one last time. I must also note that it was mentioned that Scooby Doo's Choaster Coaster will also be leaving next year (for al those who were curious). I will confirm this information now so please take it seriously. 2006 is on it's way and it's coming with a bang, but until then have fun and stay safe 150th post! RingMaster
exactly when are they going to start re-themeing HB? both nick or treat and winterfest have events in HB/NC, so will the kiddie rides be open or closed? *side note: Hey, Skippy, happy 150th post (even though it's kinda late)!*
Admiral Ackbar
Yeah really - good job ripping stuff off another fansite and posting it on here and making it look like youre such a freakin genius for figureing it out... Another PKIC Excusive update! This is just something a member of that site has posted - and may or may not be true. Until you see hard core evidence - don't believe anything. Ryan
Is South Pie where the little train and the ghoster coaster is? And North Pie is where the carousel and Haunted Castle are? If South Pie is what I'm thinking it is than if it's removed I doubt too many people would notice, the attractions there are for very small children and are almost hidden, though the area is still neat. King Bowser
Scooby- Dont forget PKI is paramounts flagship park. Whatever we get Iam sure families will love it. HBL will be missed. For those of you that are saying kids dont know who the Flintstones are yadda-yadda-blah-blahing because ya'll havent a clue...most 5- 15 years olds know who the Flintstones are because of cartoon network they made a new Flintstones movie which was shown non-stop on the channel last Summer the movie was titled: The Flintstones on the Rocks the animation was done by PowerPuff Girls Creator Craig McCracken and the story was done by Dexter's Lab,Samurai Jack creator/director Genndy Tartakovsky the animated movie did very well pulled in 32 Million viewers the friday it debuted. Same with Yogi Bear John K.(who created Ren & Stimpy) did a very short new series of Yogi Bear Cartoons for the cartoon network in 1999 they did ok but not great alot of older yogi fans didnt care for the gross, sick humor it had most yogi bear fans said it was Ren and Stimpy with different characters.John K. has also done Jetsons shorts for Cartoon Network and Adult Swim a lot of jetsons fans were p*ssed that John K. messed with The Jetsons many fans had this to say about the new shorts(George acted too much like Ren Hoek. Jane was a cypher. Judy was completely absent and Elroy acted nothing like he did on the old show.) Whats to come of Hanna-Barbera? Well Warner Bros. Owns all things HB I know that WB has a Yogi Bear Movie in the works it will be like Scooby-Doo:Movie and Scooby Doo 2:Monsters Unleashed ..Live-action w/CGI I have heard that the 40-year-old Virgin himself Steve Carell is playing Mr.Ranger in the Live-Action Yogi Bear Movie but that is merely a rumor take it with a grain of salt. Also WB has been planing to bring the Jetsons to life the movie was all ready to take off until Steve Martin left the project to take on The Pink Panther instead now the movie is getting re-written by Sam Harper(Cheaper By The Dozen) and WB has release dates planned for those two movies in 2007 & 2008. Scooby_Doo
I'm Ready I'M READY! I hope PKI gets that spongebob coaster because IJ:ST kinda was let down in my view overhyped as well. SO whats it gonna be Spongebob Squarepants:Mrs.Puff's Crash Course Boating School The Fairly OddParents:Fairly ODDcoaster Nick Carwash Nick Space Surfer? I hear HBL and NC will be totally redone I hope so.
deidre1976
the ghoster coaster has got to go! The ride line takes to long and only goes one bat at a time, they need a ride with a train that can take more than 2 people. The kids do need coasters but they shouldn't have to wait forever in a line that never ends.
