One of the managers (managers always wore ties and carried walkie-talkies), Dawn Schwind (L) and supervisor Brenda Schramm (R) doing some troubleshooting on the new ride. It was very important to press the start button all the way down and hold it so that the ride started correctly. A quick jab would only start the motors on each of the three arms and not the large central motor that rotated the entire ride. The hydraulic lift wouldn't engage unless both sets of motors were operating.
