My family and I are coming to Kings Island in June and were wondering if there are any nearby lakes or nice camping grounds. I know that Kings Island shut theirs down and we need help finding a close one. We dont want to stay in a hotel.

there is a campground on rt 123 in lebanon. it is only 10 minutes from the park.

I would recommend Cedarbrook or Morgan's Riverside Campground and Cabins. You can read about both of them in a recent issue of Cincinnati Parent Magazine.

we stayed at cedarbrook a few yrs back last time i was at the island very nice campgrounds not far from the park at all

speaking of Morgan's, i'm ready for a canoeing adventure.

this would be a great time of year for it.
