Featured Replies

new wooden coaster trains

today at iaapa, the gravity group, known for world renowned wooden coasters all over the world made a big announcement. The creation of their new sister company "gravitycraft"

Gravitycraft will specialize in state of the art wooden coaster trains called "timberliner" available for the 2009 season. the new timberliner trains include the ability for launches and magnetic braking systems....

the topic title is a joke, obviously i do not expect a launched 4d wooden coaster, but i suppose anything is possible now....

head over to www.newsplusnotes.com (who was the first to break this story) for more info on the new company and trains.

unfortunately no pictures of the trains themselves, but a good description as well as concept logos and such are on the site.

i'm kind of skeptical about this new technology, however excited at the same time, since i looooove woodies

Sounds like my No Limits ride "The Ohio Thrasher" with a Maverick style lift isn't too far off.
