I am new to Ohio, and tommorrow (Mon 05/06/05) will be my first trip there since I was a kid. I have a couple of genral questions. First of all, does anyone know if it should be busy tommorrow? I am from Orlando, and generally June is the start of the busy season, and parks are slammed every day. I was wondering if PKI is generally busy on weekdays.
Also, does anyone have evperience with child swapping? At Cedar Point, the child swap was awesome, we were given a piece of paper and the parents that wnet through first would give it to the ride attendant, in the meantime, the other adult could take the kids on kid rides (instead of having to physically be at the exit like most Orlando parks.) Then, the people that had the kids could walk straight to the exit, give their names to the ride attendant and get right on. Is King's Island similar to this?
My third question is regarding The Beastie. This was the first coaster that I ever rode with my dad. My son is four and does meet the height requirement. Does anyone know if this is too intense for a 4 year old. (I am also curious about Wild Thorberry's River Adventure.)
I also read that Sponge Bob has a 44 inch requirement. Are they strict about that if the child is with and adult? My son ius about 42 inches and would love the attraction. I have never seen a height restriction on a 3-D movie before, and I was curious why there is one.
My final question is regarding characters. Are the chacters out and about on weekdays. My son is a huge Scooby-Doo fan and my daughter is a huge Dora fan. What are the chnaces and what is the best way to see them?
Thanks, any replies would be greatly appreciated.
