Sounds like you have fun, and i remember when i first graduated to the big stuff, i hated coasters until that day, now im subscribed to a fan forum go figure... We are going next Wednesday, and i need to work myself up to get on FOF. I've never been able to get myself on it, and the one time i was going to there was a two hour wait. And when you only get to go once a year, you really don't want to waste two hours just standing in line... On a side note I hope it's hot again next week and that it doesn't rain...

i miss the POV's i would sit and watch them for hours in the off season, as well as during various computer classes i had throughout the schoolday... I don't know how many times i got in trouble for watching them, i went to the principals once...

I was going to say the exact same thing, I was terrified of the thing until last summer, but if you just get on it, and don't worry, by the time you're halfway up the tower you realize you have to come back down and you have little choice about it so you might as well enjoy it. Then it becomes fun. Drop zone went from being the one ride in the park i feared most, to being one of my all time favorites. Have fun

You're definitely right, but i too should hold my tongue because i was thinking more of the ride... It's hard when you sit here day in and day out talking about the rides and such, they almost in a very weird way become your "friends", and since i knew none of the people, in my head i worried more about my "friend" than the people i didn't know, which is wrong... Sorry that was kind of dumb, but it was the best way i could say it...

I will definitely ride it again if it's open when i go, one of my favorite rides... Plus my dad and i had a thing going and if i won he would ride it, he's a bit scared of it, and i definitely won. Also, this is the first real accident, that had lasting reprocussions, that i've heard of at KI, so i trust the staff will figure out what went wrong and fix it, they've done a great job so far...

yeah basically what everyone else said i did the same thing: middle of the very last car and it was enjoyable enough, and it did seem smoother than The Beast the day i rode it... And it took me awhile to get my nerve up to get on SOB too, but im glad i did as it is now probably my favorite coaster i've ridden so far..
-
i've ridden SOB once (last year), and loved it. I was a bit nervous getting on because everyone says it's so rough, but i really didn't notice it. Felt like a typical wooden roller coaster to me. My dad and i had a rougher ride on The Beast earlier that day, and i won't even go near The Racer any more.

FOF caught fire? I never heard this one...
-
Well, if it does go, it better not happen until i get a chance to ride it. I haven't gotten a chance yet, i always chickened out when i was younger, now i just don't want to wait in line. I'll do it this year if it's still there especially since i don't know if i'll get another chance.
-
They can't take it out yet! I haven't gotten a chance to ride it yet, this was going to be the year, I will be severely ticked if it's gone before I get to get on it.
-
I'm guessing re-paint.? Someone who really knows what they're talking about can back me up if they want...
-
I've yet to ride FOF, i've always chickened out at the last second. This is my year though. I haven't ridden faceoff either, but only because no one will go with me.

It's about time, it's needed it for a few years now.

i like my avatar. And I get to go to Dsney/MGM spring break 2007 with our school band, we will go and hang out thhere for a while, march down main street usa, and hang out some more. as well as see the sights of florida and such other cool things. I could do without the marching part.
-
I guess you could say it's newer than what it started out as... I love The Beast, being out in the woods and getting away from all the people and stuff, especially at night when it really gets a little creepy but really fun. I especially like the helix when i sit on the outside.

I wish I could go. I have no money, and everyone keeps telling me that the whole school thing will shape my future. I'm not sure whether to believe them or not.

That's Great!!! -
What if it is just some random company that up and decides to buy a theme park chain, and takes us all by surprise... Joe Blow Trucking Kings Island anyone?
-
King's Island could make a ton of money renting those out to company's, just like regular billboards, and allow them to put their logo up and advertise in the park... Or They could advertise different things in the park, like upcoming events, or rides, etc...

New Nick Universe Info Released!

One thing that goes with the whole theming thing, is a lot of times it is not totally the park's fault that their theming is crappy. Most of it is the inconsiderate people who go around sticking gum to the handrails, breaking anything they can get their hands on, such as the speakers on IJST, and whatever else they can think of to make sure that they ruin the experience for everyone else. Sure, parks can do better at cleaning up different things, but you can't stop every jerk. And then there's things like light bulbs on TR:TR that are never replaced when burnt out, and other random things. So now that I am done ranting... -
I also agree, I'll admit that it's rough, it's not that bad. I sat in the very back car this summer and found it bearable and even fun. As a matter of fact an hour or so before I had a rougher ride on The Beast. (Very humorous, you had to be there to see my dad trying to keep his sunglasses on through the helix.) I was a little worried as I got on after reading about it's roughness, but my fears were definitely unfounded.

Those pictures look an awful lot like my bedroom... Anyway, KKC was my first log flume. I remember riding it because I went with my dad and one of his friends. Both of them were picking on me about how wet i was going to get, but when we got off I was bone dry and they were absolutely soaked.

What was that, other than a sign getting ready to be washed away into the "danger zone? "
