As a parent of Miss Rae (6) there is only so many times I can watch her go around Swipers Sweepers and act like I’m absolutely ecstatic about watching her come around each time. The shows where a wonderful relief for us as we were able to do it as a family. And when we took our 22 y/o son to watch The School of Rock I was happy because we all enjoyed the show. miss Rae because she wants to be a Rock-n-Roll girl, son, its’ Rock-n-Roll do I need to say more and for the wife and I, well… because we grew up with most of the songs that they played. What I’m taking so long to say is “We all enjoyed the show o’matter what the ages were in our family †that’s a real hard thing to do!! Now for the Nickelodeon Parade miss Rae is still Kickin It All Over Town, and because she is six and can’t always keep the words straight, she changes them to fit the moment. That parade has had a lasting effect on the young guests that lasts past the parks experience of that day. I think the young guests liked it because it was loud and the employees seemed to be exited about being in it and when they interacted with the young guests, the young guests were drawn right into all the excitement of the parade as it was designed to do. This family really enjoyed both shows and will miss them immensely, and because our park experience requires more than rides I hope that the departing shows are replaced by shows that are equal in caliber and maybe even a few more shows would be nice.

She likes him as a stuffed doll, but the channels she watches don't show him. So she likes him only as the way he is presented at Kings Island mostly.

Kings Island has put extra security around these icons, due to the death threats. They are not going anywhere, its ok.

I have been reading these boards for a long time and because I was always curious about how things happen around Kings Island and to get the inside scoop. So I know everyone who has signed up and the ones who a seriously considering going on the trip want to know more details. .Its hard not to tell you everything that is going on in regards to the Event, but a lot is going on. Basically I can say this, the ones who have signed up are going to be very happy that they did. There are many plans, quotes, ideas and changes that are happing and being pursued, to make it a Event that will be remembered for a long time, Something that PKI Central.com and its members can be very proud about. Because of the new ideas several things need to change and it is a bigger task to accomplish. I don’t know which features and if all the plans will work out but we are trying to make a trip to be more than that and I appreciate those who are helping to make this Event happen. I will try to keep you all informed but its a lot bigger now and its going to take more time to make it just right, so bare with me fellow members. If the information doesn’t come out as fast as you would have hoped that it would. I know what is happening and it will be worth the wait!

Adult Maxx Pass for me and PKI Pass only for wife & daughter (unless better price for Jr Maxx, Then all three of us will have the Maxx Passes). I hope thats what the 2007 season Pass delay is all about.

Avatar and family decided to go to Kings Island for the day on Sunday August 27th, 2006. We need to wake up at 6:00 am on the morning of a Kings Island day trip and leave by 7:30 am to be able to get to Kings Island for the rope drop at 10:00 am (Very important if you want to catch any must do rides before the lines build up later in the day). So the alarm goes off and as I reach for the snooze button I notice it’s still dark, but wait a minute it is almost fall so the clock is right. The next ring of the clock and time to start the routine, nudge wife and no response so into Miss Rae’s room. Well it’s getting just a little lighter out so I can see that she is in one of those deep sleep modes with the mouth wide open and arms extending out over the bed. Our Yorkshire terrier usually watches over her when she sleeps go figure. When he sees me he rolls over, stretches out his arms and tilts his head at me and has a look of were just not ready yet! So I give him a rub on the belly and start to leave the room and as I do so I said softly to myself that Kings Island will haft to wait 1 hour for us today. So after 1 extra hour everyone is put into the get ready for Kings Island routine mode and everything goes without a hitch. When we arrived I tried to do my PKIC member investigation routine in trying to find out what’s going on (I think I may need to post in the "you know your addicted to PKIC when" thread after this report). Miss Rae made it clear that Avatar was going to be the first ride of the day! We always know if she is ok on a ride because she will scream so loud and it sounds like she is scared to death, so we usually spend the rest of the ride explaining to the concerned passengers that the screaming means she likes it and if she goes silent, that’s when we get concerned. We knew we had a screamer on our hands when the nurses at the hospital keep closing our door when she was born. People who know me well know that this must be a joke from above at my expense. So as we get off the ride and you guessed it the most famous line of all at Nickelodeon Universe, “can we do it again… PLEASE! From there I decided to take a ride on The Beast, the first trip around was the 1st car 3rd seat and it was a good ride nothing out of the ordinary. Someone had told me to try the back car so I got back on because there was no one sitting in the back car middle seat for the next ride. I will haft to tell you after riding around twice in a row on The Beast really gave me a chance to see if there was a real difference from the front car to the back car and there most definitely is! The back car seemed much more smother and has more air time. We went over to Boomerang Bay with about a 3rd of the crowd that is normally there, we got seats right by the water so miss Rae could swim by the shore line of the wave pool and we could sit there and watch her from our lounge chairs. After about an hour it started to sprinkle and we could hear a rumble in the far distance. Well that’s all it took so everybody out of the pool and as you may have guessed by now. Avatar’s family it’s your turn to wait 1 hour for Kings Island. The rest of the day and into the evening went like normal and nothing special except I was really enjoying the family time as miss Rae thought that mother and father should hold hands (kids).. I also wanted to mention that it is now getting darker earlier and when they turn on the lights and it’s really dark out, it really gives a real nice ambiance feel to the park. We finished up by buying some salt water taffy and walking around a little more to enjoy the lights. Then we left for home. Avatar

Ok Just to update everyone who is interested in the PKIC trip 2007 to date and for those who should be. Someone I know and who is willing to help me with the PKICtour2007.com Web Sit has agreed to do so and I am very appreciative for his help, as I have never ran a web site before. So there are some big changes coming on that site, but it may take a little while to get it just right, So maybe some small changes on the web site for now. Then a huge announcement on the web site soon. I have sent Dane an e-mail a little while back to see if he could help us out by seeing if Kings Island could help us with a few ideas. I know that some ideas most likely won’t come to be, but if just one of these ideas is granted, then this whole PKIC tour 2007 will be a huge event for PKICentral.com .For those who have showed interest in this trip, you will be remembered down the line if everything turns out like we hope for. I say show your interest now to reserve a spot. Several ideas have been floated around through PM and what not, dealing with entertainment for the bus and amongst other hopeful ideas. One such item would be to show the Brady Bunch at Kings Island episode on the bus and other various personal videos. Keep the ideas coming in we are working on them to bring them to a reality. We were there yesterday too. I already knew that we wouldn’t be able to renew our passes because of this site, but I acquired about the season passes any way. They made announcements by a PA system temporarily set up as you approached the front gates and before the security checks. Basically saying what we all have heard on this site and that if you where not going to be back before Oct 29th or that if you were there to purchase a new season pass for the first time, that you should go to the season pass processing center to fill out a form and that they would and did offer some kind of ticket for that day which could be used towards the purchase of the season Passes when they come available. Also they said that an representative from Kinks Island would personally get back to you to complete the process. I did this on may way in and on my way out, both times pretty much the same story. I felt sorry for Kings Island as they really came off to me anyway to be sympathetic with the guests and generally concerned. On Sunday morning they had Kathy working the Pa system and I went over to ask a question , she said she didn’t know the answer but directed me to the process center, well when I came back to meet back up with my family, Kathy asked me “what did they say“ so that she would know the answer for the next guest.

They have given us pretty much everything that we have had and more. I mean really what else could there be? I'm just getting worried because it's taking longer than I thought it would to fix what ever it is.

I just saw on WTHR Channel 13 here in Indianapolis that Holiday World at Santa Clause, Indiana will be hosting the ninth annual Golden Ticket Awards tonight, and said they will be putting the results up on their web sit wthr.com later tonight as they become available. Good luck to all the Amusement/Theme parks especially Kings Island on the Best Kids Area for a seasonal park.

I’m shooting for to have at least 33-34 members going and if I’m right I think the total is around 19 at this point. We can get a bigger bus and add more members if the demand calls for it. So I think we only have 14-15 spots open if we get the first bus with the tables. I won’t be doing any work on the web site today, as I'm going to the park to spend some quality time with little miss Rae and the wife.

We are getting ready to leave to come over to Kings Island when we get back I’ll give a personal update to what we were able to do or what we were told. I will also confirm the prices at the park and give feedback if there are any differences from the press release.

We are coming over tomorrow; so I called Kings Island , and I just got off the phone with Nancy at Guest Relations. when I asked if we could purchase our 2007 passes tomorrow. She replied “we don’t know yet, but what you could do is buy a discounted ticket and fill out a form, keep your receipt and when they get everything going that someone would get a hold of you to complete the process“. So that’s the word that I’m getting as of now.

CoastersRZ; You are probably right, maybe a question and answer thread here may have been better. My thinking was tying to get anonymous answers from members, so that’s why I went with the Polls. Sorry for any inconvenience or confusion this may have caused. I’m just trying to take the time to plan this trip right and to give the attending members input in the process , as this is the first trip that I’m aware of for PKIC of this magnitude. I am presently putting a Web Site together now to use in the future for the gathering and dispensing of information, regarding the PKIC trip.

I agree and actually once I get feed back from the poll questions, then from here on out it will be just packaging it all up and then presented in a formal way with cost details, and with a new sign up page. I’m currently trying to put the Web Page together now. Also I don’t mind the ERT put just keep in in mind it will push the price up but if we cut out the meals then we would be back to where we started maybe a little less, price wise anyway. Edit; the Web Site domain address will be www.PKICtour2007.com, Obviously it’ll take me a little time to get things going in there.

Sorry about that I meant a Thong like the ones seen here And of course they would have your personal signature embroidered on them. But after eveyone sees the pictue of your Tong, I dont think we will get many takers for the Thongs.
