Snake Attack!

I think that the smell just adds to the atmosphere of the park, the smell and sounds of the park, kindof like in Coney many don't like the "barker" as you call them wanting you to play games, but what would the mall be without that

It seems like they keep on pushing the start date back and back, I remember in 2005 they opened for dry run like March 31, this year April 15, and now the 21st kind of a bummer

Has repairs cost more now then the ride cost?

Yeah I spent a whole night down there a year ago with a friend, we parked for free in Newport, walked over the Purple People bridge, ate in Cincinnati, saw the train and then walked through the park where the Ice Skating was supposed to be but it was closed because it was too warm. Good time though if you have a free night and with free parking in Newport it doesn't get too expensive

Yeah in the park there were some last minute rumors flying around about that weekend but I don't think there were real plans to schedule it. Just the fact that in the past couple of years adding an extra weekend spawned them.

One day I met somebody from Europe at KI and he told me that in Europe or somewhere on that side of the world people take the risks themselves and the park has no liabilities. How true this is I don't know, can someone confirm? Just throwing it out there.

Maybe someone can finally awnswer this for me. You see the big building withe the movie poster to the left of Face/Off under the arch. What is that and why must it be so tall.

I really like your ideas but unfortunately many of those I think are unrealistic, the park simply doesn't have the time to change fearfest to winterfest that quickly with that many attractions, also staffing that big of a park may be an issue. Just what I think but I like the ideas.

Well despite the fact many many people hate SOB some people still show interest in riding it otherwise they wouldnot put the person out in front of the line. Or are there other reasons for putting them there.

I don't think a bug hitting you in the eye is very valid, it like a bird pooping on your head noone can do anything about it, why would you report an incedent like this?? You aren't going to get anywhere and the park can't and won't do anything.

HUM i thought for sure that the parade was gone for good, i guess I am wrong, does anybody know for sure if the parade is or isn't coming back next year?

Over this past week they have added yet somthing else... Where cornhole was buy the days of thunder enterance there is now a stage with a tent over it themed heavily fearfest, friday night nothing occurred there but it appears as if somthing could be planned for tonight. How long will the park add to fearfest? There are only two weeks left. I am kindof confused

Fearfest hasn't been open on a Friday yet. I went last year and the lines were great for like everything. Saterdays and Saterday nights are typically the times for the worst crowds. Sunday to my knoledge is a great time to ride rides and I believe besides no fearfest operations are regular.

Well if you look at the ends of Avatar there are these little red stoppers, same with planktons plunge. I am sure that there is some type of strong buffer to stop the train.

Well I consider there to be 4 midway type scarzone. Holiday Madness, the Workzone, The one by IJ and then I conider another scarezone to be right in the entrance to the park. Most of these scarezones are pretty narrow (IJ scarezone, Workzone). Also they have people all around the park scaring you. There are people on International Street that jump out at you, and there are still the skaters in Coney Mall.

I have to agree it seems like the park has truely gone all out for this event and as a result the park looks really nice. When you think about it fearfest really is worth its money for a couple of reasons. You can get 14 hours of fun in the park, 13 special fearfest attractions, allmost all of the regular attractions are up, and it is cheaper than winterfest at 20$!

I rode hypersonic in the begining of lastyear and I loved it, I didn't think it was rough at all maybe a little at the end and the breaks are pretty jolting at the end.

All the employees were given the opportunity to get two tickets for tonight. I am going with a couple of buddies. As far as I know this is all who were invited tonight.

I sure hope Cedar Fairs hangs onto KI and just keeps it for a while and lets it grow. All the new policies and stuff are just annoying and while we still are yet to see the big changes- uniform, new attractions, ride and other policies. I would just hate to go through it again.

Wait so they sent you home cause you fell? How hard did you fall oh and did you get to ride that cool little ambulance thingy? Well good that you are ok, maybe they should redo that but how often does the wood in there get wet, it is under a big shelter.
