we paid for the gold passes we should get some kind of perk for having them. if they dont want to wait 45 minutes then they should go during the weekdays. i like the speed lanes especially fir the italian job, its always crowded, just wish they would drop the scooby doo ride and the wild thornberrys and add something like face off or Flight of Fear.

...but, keep in mind that whole point of my post--ten year's worth of license rights were included as part of the purchase price. That's already been paid for whether they use the licenses or not. (Or, rather, will be once the sale actually closes...) Viacom isn't going to refund part of the $1.24B if they decide to call Top Gun something different next year ten years from now some of those rides may not even be there. i look for face off and top gun to be the first to go.

i havent seen them run all summer...what a few extra steps.. you are going to be walking all day anyways

any idea of what they are going to do about the rides with names belonging to paramount. Top Gun, Face Off, Tomb Raider, Congo Falls, The Italian Job (did i leave any out?) they could easily change the names but tomb raider and the italian job are going to be dificult since the theming is based on the movies

cant say i blame them for not doing it htis year. honestly what is there to do at winterfest but wlak around and spend money at the shops

i dont think the trams are running at all...they were all parked down by the south exit now they are gone. plus they have concrete posts up where the trams drop people off.

in all my times going to the park throughout the years i have never seen The Beast broke down....got there first thing this morning and it was broke down so we went to the racer and the cars were out of sync (the blue forwards racer was being repaired) when they finally got it fixed they were still out of sync most of the day. then later on we got stranded on Adventure Express on the first hill for about twenty minutes. Nothing major but a rather strange day.
