  1. Awesome idea! Can't wait to see what you have in store!
  2. Ticketmaster charges for print at home, yet them spending the time, money, ink, postage, and envelope to mail them to you is free.....
  3. If I knew it was safe, I would totally do it. I'm one of the very few people who loved that ride, but I've pretty much given up hope.
  4. I went in the early 2000's, and I thought it was really smooth. It was just how it aged I guess. Did you by chance ride it after the retracking? (Which, is when they took out the trick track.)
  5. The Bat and Flight Deck are completely different. Age might even be a factor. I'm in my twenties, but I've noticed recently I can't ride nearly as much as I use to be able to, even a few years ago.
  6. So far. More then one Flight Decks, and plenty of Snoopy. (I know the number of names are limited, but some rides at the same park have very similar names. [snoopy's this, Linus' that.])
  7. The truck was already north of Kings Island, and was stopped at a 75N rest stop... wouldn't it be heading away from our park?
  8. Didn't WLWT say that Diamondback was going to be a dive machine as well?
  9. I have heard they cant build anything near or over 400ft because off a near by airport...who knows?.......i could be wrong... That's never been confirmed.
  10. And that doesn't even factor in all the planning before hand. According to Dick Kinzel, they were considering the idea earlier this summer. I assume it's safe to say Rocky Mountain probably hasn't even been to the park to look over the ride. And with a new CEO coming in, who knows what will happen.
  11. I was thinking the same thing.
  12. WindSeeker's land was basically already cleared. All they had to do was dig up the midway (which they did anyway throughout Coney Mall.) If the announcement is for 2012, we can rule out Son of Beast. The amount of work to make that ride "reliable" and to have a "satisfactory experience" will easily take all a full year.
  13. Now, Dinosaurs Alive surprises me. Kings Island's must have been a HUGE success, although I am a bit surprised that Cedar Fair didn't wait another year, just to see how many visitors return to the attraction.
  14. Cost of steal could have come up, they might have had a slight discount for buying a couple at the time. Or the falling US dollar. Things sure can change in a year.
  15. And we're only going on history. Just because it has happened in the past, doesn't mean that it will happen again. My recommendation, if you can afford it now, and you know you are going to get a gold pass, just get it now. You'll save yourself quite a bit of money.
  16. Typically? Around Memorial Day. However, never for that price.
  17. The post also seems to indicate that you can buy the pass online regardless if you are renewing or purchasing a brand new one. Last year during the $69.99 deal, you had to go down to the park and purchase the pass if you were buying it brand new. (Trust me, I remember having to owe a co-worker a huge favor after I was able to switch him shifts so I could make it down to Haunt last year to buy my 2011 pass.)
  18. Given the number of fires at Cedar Point recently, the fire hydrant is obviously our new 2012 addition.
  19. If they're in the bank turn, can't someone go grab a picture from the Eiffel Tower?
  20. I do think your on to something. Three question marks, for three different things? Definitely Dino expansion. That, or SOB. One can only hope, right?
  21. RaptorGuy, do you have any pictures by chance? Would love to see it.
  22. Hopefully in a year or two, I'll be able to make it up there. One of the parks I want to stop at.
