  1. Thanks! I use my card for everything, but I always worry some small things like this won't accept them.
  2. They do accept credit cards at the photo booths on the end of the ride... right?
  3. Maybe a nice parting gift from Mr. Kinzel himself?
  4. While I'm excited about it, I'm interested to know how Q will react....
  5. It moves throughout the night. It's been doing it since they've added the webcam there.
  6. The price for a new pass was also the same, however, you had to buy it at the park (but, received a free ticket to enter for 2010).
  7. It's only halfway through June and we're already looking for passes for next year... I need to start saving for that Platinum Pass. I know by Haunt they usually have the next seasons passes on sale.
  8. I posted it because it was free. I don't have a 3D TV, but the movie played with simply a slightly different picture on the top then on the bottom.
  9. I arrived today around 2 ish. There was someone staffed at the entrance, but they just looked the other way when I was close. I wasn't stopped.
  10. So, I was trying to change channels, and I accidentally entered the wrong number. I somehow arrived at "HDShow Case On Demand". After looking through a few, I found the full, 40 minute 3D version of Dinosaurs Alive film. I can't confirm that this is the identical movie to the one at Kings Island, but it sure looks like it is. (I haven't seen the movie yet at Kings Island). Anyways, you do need to have Time Warner Cable. I have it here in Time Warner's "mid-ohio" region, but according to Time Warner's website, it is available in Cincinnati as well on channel 1400. The movie is free to watch.
  11. I've been watching Cedar Point's webcam for a little bit... I haven't seen it move. May of been like Canada's Wonderland... only open for an hour or so.
  12. Yes, it can be easily removed. So, why wouldn't you remove it unless you didn't plan on using the station again until next haunt? While I really hope Lance is right... his track record kills any excitement from this news.
  13. I cannot agree more with this. It took me quite a few years to actually enjoy roller coasters... I always went on The Beast with my Dad to make him happy, but I never enjoyed it. The first ride that I actually enjoyed, I purchased the on ride photo. I still have it to this day.
  14. Mr. Sheppard is right on. I know a police report will get you a free replacement, and I assume the incident taking place inside the park also qualifies.
  15. Any ride? I know Diamondback had a sign the first year it was open about this, but I assumed it was only a one year deal.
  16. Thanks DIeseltech20, exactly the answer I was looking for.
  17. I noticed Kings Island offers a flash drive for the on ride photos. The sign said that for about thirty buckes, you get to keep 4 of your on ride photos. My question is, do I have to buy it on the first ride, or do I just keep my photo numbers and buy it at the end? The sign, from what I read, isn't clear on the matter. Thanks.
  18. I did a quick search, but I couldn't find a "Flying Turns" topic, so I decided to make one. Looks like this POV went up a few days ago, and looks really fun towards the end!
  19. It didn't appear to fully climb the tower. However, by judging from Canada's Wonderland, the cycle doesn't appear to be too much longer.
  20. In the old QTV video from the 25th anniversary of The Beast, there was a great quote as to how all of John Allen's calculations didn't go over a 100 feet, and in order to achieve the height they wanted, they had to go underground. Also, don't look so much at the number exactly, look at the concept. He's not saying any coaster 81 feet or higher is awful, he's just ball parking a number. Which, in all honesty, isn't that far off. Son of Beast 218', Texas Giant 153', Hercules 151', Rattler 179'... Should I continue?
  21. Thanks for posting that. Certainly makes it seem like either it's going to become a steal coaster, or it's gone.
  22. Can I ask where you read that at? It seems to "predictable" to be true. I mean, that's been my guess for the last year and a half. I just want to make sure the source is somewhat reputable. Elmer- Texas Giant. If your still not sure, do a bit of searching. Shouldn't be too hard to find. And from what I've read, a 3 hour wait for Texas Giant isn't too uncommon now.
  23. Yes, but supports didn't start to arrive until late July for Diamondback. We just crossed into June.
  24. I agree, it seems very early for a coaster for 2012.
