  1. If he ever gets online. Its the background music playing in one of the tribal councils during the part where Jeff Probst is talking to the people before they vote. I (nor Alien Seed) knows which one it is. It is definately the same though - they just added a couple things for the Preshow music. Don't forget that Survivor is a Paramount brand. Also - its not the only place on TRTR where they use non original music.
  2. I don't think you can... Employees cannot attend audience participation shows. I don't know if it is one - it is isn't it? I might go this year. I thought about seeing it last year but was told I wasn't allowed.
  3. I believe Alien Seed has the evidence... They sound EXTREMELY similar if you play the Preshow Ambiance and this particular Survivor track side by side.
  4. So Paramount will be its own thing - not just made a part of the Cedar Fair map?
  5. My point was that I am hoping they don't decide to just make an "Ohio Pass" as it has been called on here - and make it mandatory that you purchase it - and have it cost like 200 bucks. I hope they at least make the Ohio Pass reasonably priced (100-125 bucks) or have an option to just get a PKI pass.
  6. Just about anywhere you can stand - there are two smoking areas in sight. Except in Kiddie Land - theres just the one down across from the bathrooms across from flume.
  7. Alot of people - including myself.
  8. It is really hard to enforce it. About all rides associates can do is yell at people they see smoking in line or at ride exits. I told a woman the other day to put out her cigarette - who was smoking at Troika's exit.
  9. Well I mean Nickelodeon is clearly going to bring in more money. But that goes along with the Theme Park type thing - and Cedar Fair runs amusement parks.
  10. He composed the Preshow soundtrack and the music for the Main Show. He may have done the drums as well. But the outdoor queue definately comes from Baraka, and the Preshow ambiance comes from Survivor.
  11. CP could use some of the kiddie type stuff that PKI has - like Avatar - and PKI could DEFINATELY use some of the thrill rides of CP.
  12. Yeah that will be interesting to see. I mean the only reason I like the Gold Pass is that if you buy it the year before you get free parking. I never use any of the "perks". Does Cedar Point have any kind of Season Pass or Addon which allows you to have unlimited free parking? If not that would seriously suck... I just looked at the CP site - their season passes are CHEAPER than ours. But their parking pass is 65 bucks - compared to ours at 25. I guess we just have to wait and see how it goes.
  13. If you look at the desktops on many of the computers at PKI - including the ones in the season pass processing place - they have a new logo. Its Black and Gold (instead of Blue and White) and has the same design as the old one - but says "A CBS Company" where it used to say "A Viacom Company".

The other day they had this girl TRYING to sing a Dolly Parton song on the Star Search Live thing...
  15. I know - I have staffed the speed lanes before. That is why I am afraid of going through one myself.
  16. Don't forget that TRTR's preshow ambiance comes from a Survivor Tribal Council background music.
  17. Yeah and we found out the consoles are the same - on both rides - as well as another highly questionable (for guests) feature of the Troikas. Cedar Point's Troika is not as long as ours - but its more forceful or something. It feels totally different.
  18. I would be afraid to use the speed lane. In my experience - guests who waited 1.5 hours to ride something don't like being cut. I have never had the opportunity to use the speed lane - but now that I do - I don't think I will use it often...
  19. They still play the Indiana Jones music - at least they did a couple weekends ago. Also - the dead guy is Henry - of the lost Henry Expedition (which is overdue 21 days) - not Indiana Jones.
  20. Ours was first too! I always thought theirs was first - since it opened first. But close examination of the two plaques proved different. Shake, Rattle & Roll - Serial Number 26731 Cedar Point Troika - Serial Number 26732 So ours was apparently made first. I am proud to say that not only have I been on two Troikas - I have been on two HUSS rides with consecutive Serial Numbers!
  21. Troika is a Beast. That thing keeps going and going and going and going. It has closed before - for very minor things - but the thing seems to be foolproof in general. I hope the park keeps it around for a long time. It has high capacity - near 500 per hour - and is extremely reliable.
  22. Chef - Adventure Express takes place on "the trans-jungle route to outposts 4 and 5". I suppose it could be Fiji - but considering that it is based on the opening sequence of Raiders of the Lost Ark - that takes place in South America - and how the statues on Lift 2 look very indigenous to Central or South America - I would sooner believe its Mayan or Aztec.
  23. Peanuts owns both Hanna Barbera and Nickelodeon!

Yeah none of the concerts they had at PKI last year really catered to me. That is not a big deal though. The only one that I might have actually sat through was Simple Plan. Now if Blue Man Group came to PKI...
  25. So you could say at the trip - you were "ridin spinnaz"?
