^Everyone I have talked to that blacks out on Vortex - always blacks out at the same spot. Way to go Toomer! The only ride I have ever blacked out on is Son of Beast - and that wasn't until the 14th consecutive time riding it. I guess I just have a tolerance for G force.

Yes - the kiddy corral is at the back of the station - like Kong Fu said. You can take your kid with you through the line, then tell the operator they need to wait for you - and they can escort your kid to the corral. Rides with Kiddie Corrals: Top Gun, Son of Beast, Delirium (the bullpen), Adventure Express, Racer, Flight of Fear, Dodgem, Vortex, Beast, Tomb Raider (sort of - Rendevouz Point).

Vortex No - I don't know - but it seems EVERYONE is getting hired for Vortex this year...

I can't wait for the big Vortex Party. Do you think Vortex will have a party just as The Beast did ? Oh, there will be a party - whether or not the park has anything to do with it...

The Troika ride at PKI was built in 1975, and was originally called TROIKA. Then it got changed to Shake, Rattle and Roll. Whatever it is called - it is definately the best flat ride in the park - since the Flyers were removed... Like I said above - I could ride it all day! Right now its run by The Vortex crew. So I am lucky to work both of my favorite rides. But it used to be run by The Beast Crew. So at one time they ran The Beast and both of the best flat rides in the park!

It is kind of funny that PKI raises their Season Pass prices - and its still cheaper than the Holi-Season Pass - to Holiday World. Is it possible to get parking at all? Even if you buy a seperate thing?

I think Legend is a lot more like Beast than Raven. But both are similar. Oh and Legend Rider - HWs PTC trains are 4 people trains. Ours are 6. So yours still hold less.

I just don't think there would be that big a market for it. Yes - it would be cool. Yes people would go see it. But people would go to PKI just for PKI - without the animal habitat. So why spend the extra money - and it would be ALOT - for an attraction that you would do just as well without? I mean back in the day - it was probably a bouns for the park to have. But these days - it would cost extra money and wouldn't bring in any extra revenue.

Coney is due for an upgrade. IJST is kind of halfway between Rivertown. You can see it from Coney mall - but the entrance is in Rivertown, and the ride is operated by Rivertown. So if you count that as a Rivertown upgrade - then Coney hasn't had one for a while... Which could turn out to be another confirmation of tha dreadful rumor about Vortex... We wont know till all is said and done though. At least it will be a while before Nick is upgraded.

If you want to do 3d animations of stuff like this - get Bryce. It does the same thing as 3D Studio Max - well not everything - at a fraction of the cost. I think Bryce is like 150 bucks now...

LMAO - I might have actually phrased it that way. The mother didn't know what to do - all 3 of her kids wanted to ride - so I said "I could ride with one of them if you want - I need to do a test ride anyway." May I ride with your son?

It can get really annoying - especially trying to line things up. My Delirium is made out of all boolean objects. So as you can imagine - although it looks good - the actual object file is very complex. I tried to create meshes for the seats but it was just too hard. I know Bryce is able to animate though - and using the Advanced Motion Lab - you could make some beautiful swings... If only I could get the seats made.

It caught her totally off guard... I think the new Avatar says it all...

Indeed - she said all the landscaping might not be done - but all the rides will open April 14th. Also there is a 4 day opening weekend! OMFG It better be above 50 degrees cause I seriously need to ride Vortex...

I actually had a story but I didn't tell it. I was working Troika one time and this family came and had 3 kids and a mother. You can only get 3 people in a Troika car so one of the kids was going to not get to ride. Then someone got rotated down to take my spot - so I test rode and was the kids chaperone so he could ride. Well like 2 months later I was sent to South Pie. I got stuck down at Choo and the same family rode. I did not recognize them - but the mother was like - you're the guy that rode the Shake Rattle and Roll with my son! That was pretty cool that they remembered that and I made a difference to them.

So were the rumors of the Indiana Jones movie officially confirmed or denied? And who was that guy there who's name tag said "Indiana"? I thought the tour was pretty cool. I would have liked to have won one of the Holiday World flags. It was pretty funny though when Don won that packet and wasn't even paying attention and we were all like - DON GET YOUR ASS UP THERE! And the most memorable part was the tom foolery that happened back in the picnic grove.
