Yeah, I'm still debating what I'm going to do. Wanted to do Coastermainia next year, then come back for Coasting for Kids 2015. So a very busy weekend. My budget is only going to allow 1 event, and since I have never been to CP; I was wanting to do Coastermania.

Hey all, just wanting to know, when does Cedar Point usually opens? My birthday is May 4th, and this next will be my 40th, so wanted to do something special, maybe spend a day at CP, then possibly hop up to Canada's Wonderland (since I already have a passport).

Funny how people are saying "Stand ups are out of date","nobody wants them" . Have we forgotten the new invert (I mean the coaster style that hasn't been built in years because they were not popular) Banshee???? I would love to see a Giga stand up coaster!

All I can say is, all traces of the ride except for the control shed are gone; including the sign. It just got a new sign not too long ago. So has to make me wonder??

I'm sure Don's bat phone will ring when the ride is imminent .

I beg to differ. I have rode with a hip sack all year on Banshee. Depends on how obvious it is. If you have a small one, you will not have a problem. A larger one; yes, they will not let you on with it. Mine is just large enough to hold my keys, phone, I and pass, and allergy meds for emergencies. But yes, I would advise in a good pair of cargo shorts.

I think I have found the solution to the problem of having to carry this cup. I am going to check with the park. My idea is to peel the sticker off my Banshee cup and hold on to the bar code, since they need that to scan for the refill. Maybe there is a reason that has to do with The Racer itself. Maybe she will get some love over the off season; and they want to show it off to the 100,000,000 rider??? Hard to say, maybe tours are booked?? Who knows.
