  1. I think I'd rather ride Diamondback, Manta, Tatsu, or Scream! than iSpeed. Just me.
  2. ^Wow, I always thought Millie was your favorite. And I completely agree, Skyscraper is amazing. My dad and I rode it 3 times, no hands. Easily the 4th best flat ride ever.
  3. I don't know this for sure, but I think he is referring to SFNE, due to the fact that it isn't in his floorless section.
  4. ^Whoa. How many coasters overall have you ridden?
  5. Our opinions are completely the opposite. We have the same opinion on Magnum, but Diamondback and Millie need to be switched. However, I would never say that Diamondback is the ULTIMATE ride experience.
  6. Excuse me, Diamondback lacking Ejector hills? HELLO? That's what Hills 1, 2, 3, and 5 provide for at least 2-3 seconds each! There are times when I have had to hold on with one hand because I feel I might fall out. Granted, I will give you the last 2 hills and their missing airtime, but Diamondback is FULL of ejector air. No, I agree with him. All of the airtime on Diamondback is floater, while Magnum's is ejector. Diamondbacks airtime is nothing even close to the same as those last few on Magnum. Diamondback is still the superior ride, IMO.
  7. I used to get wet on this ride until the water started looking disgusting. Have they cleaned it out yet?
  8. You just have to look very, very hard. Due north.
  9. They could make it make into just a Nick Central with Reptar, Thornberrys, and possibly Phantom Flyers...
  10. I believe you mean Krabby Patties, and not Crabby Patties. Some people are just so clueless!
  11. Wow! That's a lot of stuff. Unfortunately I do not get to go there this year. Hopefully next year though. And the one picture of Loch Ness is kind of cool. Just look at how it is completely dwarfed by Griffon.
  12. All in fun Kat! In line for The Beast on Saturday night there were some kids who were joking around and laughing about people who always put a "The" in front a a ride name. I had to laugh when one of them said something like: Would you call it THE Little Bill's Giggle Coaster? Then don't call it The Vortex or The Adventure Express. Considering the conversation, I almost asked if any of them were KIC members. That was me. Ha. Were you the person behind me in line?
  13. Me and my friend were the only ones on a DB train about 5 times in a row once.
  14. The good part about the drop is that it's very tall and almost vertical. I love the curvature on DB's drop more than any other drop I've ridden. Millie's drop is just straight track, while DB has a distinct "steepest point".
  15. So would you say Georgia Cyclone, is the best ride at SFOG? I'm personally looking forward to their four B&M coasters the most.
  16. Wow, I am really getting tired of people saying this. Sorry to double post, but once again, MILLIE WAS NOT DESIGNED FOR AIRTIME. That is not what it was designed for. Airtime is not what Millie was designed for. Airtime is not what Millie was designed for. Airtime is not what Millie was designed for. If anyone here doesn't like coasters that lack airtime, then how is it that you enjoy Adventure Express, Beast, Flight Deck, Firehawk, Raptor, and Dragster? NONE of those coasters were designed for airtime.. I am an enthusiast that can appreciate a coaster for what it is, not snub it because it doesn't have ONE element. We know that airtime is not what Millie is designed for, and that's why it's lacking. Either way it's still definitely lacking airtime, and what it was designed for does not matter, because it doesn't have airtime either way. And out of the ones you named, I only like Raptor, Dragster, and Beast more. Raptor has awesome inversions, Dragster has insane acceleration, speed, and height, and as for Beast: well, you can't deny that The Beast is just perfect at night, and is a legend. Anyways, I like Diamondback a lot more. I personally like the design of the drop a lot more, the airtime is crazy, the hammerhead is better than any overbank on Millie (except the first). Not to mention the awesome helices, a sweet looking splashdown, and completely open trains. Don't get me wrong, I think Millie is a good coaster. But the things that make it good are the height and speed. The height obviously doesn't last, but the speed does for a while. Diamondback was designed for airtime, speed, and height. While the speed wears off halfway through the ride, at the MCBR, it has SIX drops over one hundred feet tall, and the airtime is consistent throughout. That's why I like Diamondback more.
  17. I saw that on Travel Channel, and it looked awesome!
  18. That's what I'm saying. I would rather have a more modern wooden coaster (GCI, Gravity Group, Intamin) than a B&M Invert. And by the way, haven't you been on more B&M's than 4, because you rode Hulk as coaster #50?
  19. ^I guess that would fall under the "other" catagory. And, just a question, but weren't some of those you named actually just designers, like John Miller?
  20. I was thinking about it but there would be SO many choices. I'll try to do it though.
  21. I disagree, but you're entitled to your opinion. Beast, 11:50 PM, front seat, Saturday night. Pure Coaster Perfection.
  22. What cruise line were you on? We had the NCL credit card so we always went on NCL. I do like the cruise freestlye.
  23. Really? I've done that several times, and never gotten any bugs.
  24. There are many manufacturers, but only a few are regarded as the best ones in the industry. So, what are your favorites? They can be current or past manufacturers. They can have coasters and/ or flats. This will probably be a head to head battle with B&M and Intamin, but some like Arrow and others. I'd have to say B&M over the rest. I've only ridden 4 (Diamondback, Raptor, Chang, Mantis), but they've all been perfect from start to finish. PS: I searched and couldn't find a thread like this. If there is one, delete this one. I'm hoping that's all the choice people will want. Reply if there is another one.
