Hank, in the other thread you said you haven't been to KI for three years. If it was during the first half of that season you haven't even seen how Fast Lane works. Even if you witnessed it during the last half of that season, they have made some improvements to the system that you have not seen. Why are you so against it? If I remember correctly, in the last half of 2010, (right year?) when Fast Lane was introduced, it made around a million dollars. With all of the other parks now fully offering Fast Lane, Cedar Fair is no doubt raking in the money. I don't see that as a bad thing like you seem to do.

Weekdays in May are still a great time to go. No Fast Lane needed. The only people there are coaster enthusiasts and schools, but schools are limited and they leave halfway through the day.

We did that with VIP. There really isn't a difference.

I loved Skeleton Crew! It was like a circus.

How many people do you really think say to themselves, "Hey, I'm not in anyway associated with Ohio State, but I'm gonna check to see if they actually check?" I doubt many people do that. Jr, I'm taking it you are gonna be there? Wanna meet up?

I remember the episodes where they set up base on Ohio State's campus. Honestly, I doubt they used the amusement park and intended it to represent HW or KI, becuase who the hell would even care besides people like us?

I have no problem with this or the original Fastlane. It makes the park(s) boat loads of money. No one is forcing you to buy it. The ones that do buy it will not affect your wait by a substantial amount. On the busy days that it does somewhat affect your wait then you should have picked a different day to visit. I bet you guys really hate airlines, concerts, sporting events, etc... for their first class ticket options. This tiered option is not just in amusement parks. You guys are just complaining about this because it's fresh in your minds.

As far as I know, students can buy as many as they want for friends/family/random people who ask.

NBC's Revolution filmed a few episodes at the former Hard Rock Park. Pretty weird looking, but I don't know if NBC did that, or if it already looked that bad.

There is always an exception. I was walking around KI and CP with my friends when we were 10 and 11, but that is because I was almost 6 feet tall at that age.

True but I'm sure B&M could make trains with guide wheels on the inside if the park really wanted them. *cough* Magnum *cough* The day they put new trains on Magnum is the day I stop giving Cedar Fair my money!

And why they think those are necessary is beyond me. I know Rideman hates them, too.

My favorite B&M trains are the ones like Apollo's Chariot. I love that ride.

Ankle restraints? I hate those. Are they like FoF's?

According to the Pointbuzz offseason tour, Cedar Point's WindSeeker will have the same evacuation contraption as Knotts does. They expect it to open with the park in May. I'm going to assume Kings Island will get the same thing, but I have no idea if it will be ready or not by opening day.

I, too, have yet to go to a Disney park.

Seems really short to me.

I'll still ride, but the evacuation method is a little sketchy.
