Wildcat was testing just days prior to opening day. And was already inspected and approved by the State. This leads me to believe Mr. Ouimet and/or John Hildebrandt (sp?) looked at the midway and said "Oh crap, this is too cramped."

I usually play Call of Duty with coasterfanatic2012 til about 1:30 and then start my browsing of the internet. You, sir, are hopelessly addicted to KIC. I have multiple tabs open at one time, mostly with other coaster sites.

I have visited the park 5 times and it only says I visited twice. Awesome.

This one has everybody stumped. ^^Their was most likely nothing major wrong with Wildcat that forced them to take it out. It was due to the cramping of the new Luminosity midway. (Which looks awful, BTW)

They're completely different experiences. I've never been on Manta, but I can tell by the POV. Firehawk is a Vekoma coaster where all of the coasters are nearly the same (Nighthawk) and Manta is a unique flying coaster by B&M with water effects and theme... I know what makes them different, and I know who the manufactures are. I don't need a POV to tell me that, as I have ridden both multiple times. They are both flying coasters. That is what I was comparing in my original post. It is a joke that Firehawk is even in the same classification as Manta.

You probably won't need it, but if you want to ride over and over and over then have fun.

The weather is supposed to be great tomorrow. Millennium will probably be around an hour along with Maverick and Dragster. Magnum will be a walk on up to 15 minutes. Raptor, at the end of the day, will be around 20 minutes. Really, it doesn't matter. If you are there all day then you have plenty of time to do everything and some things multiple times.

I'm with you. I sort of liked Firehawk until I rode Manta at Seaworld this year. Now every time I see Firehawk I think to myself "what a joke."

Well, I didn't originally post in this topic so I'll just lost what I have done so far. Visited Discovery Cove, Sea World, Islands of Adventure, and Universal Studios in February. (First time I have ever been to Discovery Cove and IoA) Visited Holiday World for the first time ever in June. Have been to Cedar Point and Kings Island a total of 10 times, so far, including a VIP tour at KI. And finally on August 13th, Coasterfanatic2012 and I will be taking a road trip to Canada's Wonderland and will be stopping at Niagra Falls on the way home. And then of course many more trips to Cp and KI for Halloweekends/Haunt.

They completely changed the entrance location of Disaster Transport when they removed Pharro's Tomb haunt and put in Happy Jack's Toy Factory. Pharro's Tomb could be taken down each off season leaving DT's line unharmed. Happy Jack's props and decor were permanent... Well, up until this year.

I don't understand why they say that either. I've ridden Maverick multiple times in every seat and actually prefer the back. You will never know unless you try both.
