Cedar Point had a good one until Tony Clark left. Now, Becca is kind of non-existent. Tony's blog posts were almost novels, and he truely was a coaster nerd like all of us and it showed. There was great info shared in entertaining ways. Now, Becca posts about five lines of stuff people already know and maybe, if we are lucky, throws in a few pictures. Currently I think the Busch Gardens' teams are doing a fantastic job. All of the promotional videos for Verbolton and Cheetah Hunt were great.

The only one of the four I haven't been on is El Toro. Voyage and Thunderhead are two amazing coasters that left me speechless after I rode them. Good stuff.

Probably whatever Disney park opened cars land this year. For regional parks, I would go with Holiday World or Busch Gardens Europe. Holiday World pretty much rebuilt part of Voyage making it even more awesome. They also opened Mammoth, although I liked Wildebeest better. Busch Gardens opened Verbolten. ''Nuff said.

Today's culture plays Call of Duty and watches movies where people are getting shot and slaughtered in every scene. In the 90's they played Mario Kart. I don't think people today are going to have a problem with it. Holiday World didn't have a problem with a ride named Banshee for years.

I think grey track and purple supports and black rails would look sweet with the Banshee name.

^^ Starlight is nothing like it used to be. There are still some lights on the frontier trail, but many have been taken elsewhere in the park. The music is gone, and lights no longer "dance" with each other. On the other hand, Luminosity is a great new show that makes up for it.

^^^Top Thrill Dragster does not open for ERT. It opens at 10 a.m. with the rest of the park.

With as hot as it has been, you might not wanna spend that much time on the sand without shoes. I learned that the hard way last week. Ouch.

I never ride Corkscrew. It gives riders headaches all the time. Probably one of the worst head bangers I have been on. Maverick probably gives the best night rides in the park, along with Magnum.

I thought I read somewhere that the Dino contract ends in 2018. That will be when they are taken out...or renewed.

I remember the story of someone with a fake leg rode Raptor and it fell into one of the classic cars below. Doubt it is true, but a stoy either way.
