  1. I'm not really going to go into grave detail on my trip except for the Haunts I went through. Anyways, here we go. We wasted about 38920098093 minutes waiting for my friend to buy a ticket. It was REALLY crowded, and it was hard to pick out the scareactors in the dense crowds, so a lot of them got me good at the gate.I passed by the Emporium, and there were virtually NO scareactors beyond that point. It was kind of disappointing at first, but later on they spread out more. Our first Haunt was Massacre Manor. The wait was about 20-25 minutes. I really liked this one, and it ended up being my favorite of the night. The only thing I didn't like was the multiple strobe-rooms. If I look at a strobe light too much it will make me sick, and I got a little sick from it. There were a few cool things about the strobe rooms though, like the fact that you couldn't see the monsters for a split second and then they get closer and closer to you.. It's pretty freaky. I give this maze a 8.5/10 We then met up with a ton of people and had a group of about 25-30. The maze we all decided on going through was Trail of Terror. The wait was pretty long, but it went by fast because I had fun in line with friends. Trail of Terror was really fun, and I liked it being in the woods. I kind of think it lacked a theme this year.. It was still good, and had quite a few good scares, but I just didn't like it as much as before (when it was my favorite maze). I really liked the end though.. And if you want to know what happens I'll put it in spoiler tags. All in all, I give this trail a 7/10. Some of our group wanted to see Hot Blooded, while my part of the group wanted to go to the CarnEVIL. (Heehee, like we wanted to go to the carnival.. I'm so funny right?) But one person in our group was hungry, and I was also a little bit hungry so we went to LaRosas. We walked past the Carnevil line and it was super long, so we skipped it. Diamondback came up, and while I was tempted to ride it, the line was an hour, and I had to leave in less than an hour, so we skipped that as well. We walked to Urgent Scare, which I really wanted to go through because there were so many KICers in there, but the line was an hour and 45 minutes! I was like ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! I wanted to check out Club Blood. So we walked allllllllll the way to Club Blood to find that the line was all the way back by FD. Some people wanted to do CornStalkers, so we did, and the line was short. I have to say, I actually liked this one! It had a few good scares (since I was in the front), but I think the theme stunk. I really would like to see this maze back in Rivertown.. Not in Action Zone. I give this one a 6.5/10. It was now 11:30, meaning I had to go. So I gathered my friends and we went home. I have to say, despite the very very long lines for everything, I had an AMAZING night. Also, I think they should've made some Haunt having to do with SOB. It was really dark back there, and you could hardly see SOB from the rest of the park. It would've been a good one. Okay, I'm done now. Enjoy.
  2. I'll miss seeing Scooby. I just love Scooby with all my heart.
  3. First thing that popped into my head was Revenge of the Mummy. But, if I think about it, I'm going to definately say Montu. EXACTLY as it is now. I love how it dives into the ground and I also love all of the heiroglyphics and everything. AND We need us a B&M Invert.
  4. Uhm, sorry to rain on your parade Jackson, but Spongebob's been at Universal for a while. Along with Jimmy, Timmy, and all their friends. http://www.universalorlando.com/theme-park...toon-blast.html
  5. OHMYGOSH. I'm recording it! I've been waiting to see it in it's enirety for a long long time!
  6. I was hoping they wouldn't make it smell. Is it because of the animals that is stinks? Or is it supposed to be the smell of the 'bodies?'
  7. I love this! For the longest time, I was trying to watch it, but just today, it finally worked! Thanks for posting! Now I have the enchanted voyage song stuck in my head! I can't express my joy enough! I love this!
  8. Well, what I mean is since it has a different type of track, maybe it will be smoother and wont have so much head-banging as Invertigo, which in-turn could make me like it more. And I've not ridden Carolina Cobra, so I don't know much about the new restraints.
  9. Can't wait! Thanks for getting me more excited!
  10. Since it's Vekoma, I don't think I'd really like it.. But it doesn't use normal Vekoma track..? So who knows. It does look cool, and I think it'd be even better if it had the same layout, but it was B&M.
  11. I think they should paint the railings on the blue side red, and the railings on the red side blue.. Just my thought.
  12. i was thinking the walls are to the keep the riders from reaching out to grab the other riders if they reach the brakes late. just guessing. I mean that is pretty fast, They're pretty far apart.. Too far apart to grab each other's hands. But I think maybe the sheds are because of the grease that comes off the chain. There's a big huge black spot where chain grease is on the ground and there's lots of black splatters on the outer wall of the brake shed.
  13. Yeah. I'm probably gonna say Forwards/Blue Racer. For the longest time I was too scared to ride recaR although I finally got my courage up to ride it in its hmm.. Last 3 years of being recaR. Although, I don't know why, but I think Blue Racer is the best.. (Although last-car rides on recaR are simply to DIE for)
  14. YAY Cedar Point! Btw Angie, I love your signature and I totally agree with it!
  15. Hey everyone. So, last night I returned from my long-awaited trip to Cocoa Beach, Florida. I spent a few days at the beach, a few days with family, and one awesome day at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. I have to say, I didn't think I'd be too impressed with the parks. I couldn't be more wrong. Universal brought hit movies, cartoons, and comics to life. As soon as I walked into the gate of Islands of Adventure I was grinning from ear-to-ear. I absolutely love these parks, and they are now my favorite parks I've been to. If you want to cut past all the entry details look for the red pluses. (+) I woke up at about 8:30 ready to ride! But nobody else but my brother and I were... Everyone else was kind of slow, and life-less. That was going to change. We got out of the door around 9:45-10, and drove to Universal! Sadly, we got stuck in construction for a little while, but that didn't bother me. My family parked in Cat in The Hat row 258, and continued on to what seemed like miles and miles of moving sidewalks. Then we got to the park! NOT! We continued on Citywalk, which was cool looking, and included a cinema! We got some cool views of different rides in both parks. I thought it would be best to start with Islands of Adventure since it had the most rides that I wanted to ride. Islands of Adventure suprisingly didn't have a long line to get in, and after getting my fingerprint scanned I walked in. The person running the turnstyle was really nice, and funny. He said to me 'Umm, sir.. Do you know your name?' 'No' I said, 'Okay No I hope you have a good day here at Islands of Adventure,' Anyways, a guy asked me to take a survey inside of the gate, so I stopped and took it. He asked general questions for marketing stuff, such as 'How did you decide on coming to Universal Orlando?' 'What other Orlando area parks are you visiting?' He also asked my race, yearly family income, and other questions. Anyways, enough with the boring stuff. By this point, I was getting very giddy! +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ We walked further into the park, I have to say, even the midway that you enter is themed well. So we came to a cross-road between Seuss Landing or Marvel Superhero Island, I, of course, decided going in the direction of Marvel. We came up to the Hulk's entrance 'You wanna ride this?' I said, and everyone kept walking. We came up to Spiderman, 'Wanna ride THIS?' Everyone kept walking. Eventually we entered Toon Lagoon and came up to Popeye's Bilge-Rat Barges which is a humungous version of White Water Canyon. It seats 12! We waited probably 10 minutes to ride. The ride was sooooo much better than WWC! It was themed so well, and it had hills, and when you returned to the station everyone got off the boat dripping wet! Nobody was dry at all. Next I wanted to go straight into Jurassic Park to get a ride on Jurassic Park River Adventure. I was so excited to finally ride this ride, it wasn't even funny. We waited probably 10-20 minutes, and sat down in our boat. My brother was really scared to ride because of the dinosaurs. So scared, in fact, he almost didn't get in line, and decided to ride only if my dad rode, which he ended up doing. Back to the ride, I was really impressed! The ride was cool, the scenery was cool, the drop was cool, everything was! My brother did cry up the hill, but laughed when the T-Rex came out and said 'THAT'S IT?!' I was suprised by the hill though, it was steep! I didn't get too wet from the splash though, it seemed like all the water went outwards. This is now my favorite non-coaster ride ever. Next was my other brother's turn, he picked Dudley Do-Right Ripsaw Falls. ANOTHER WATER RIDE?! Yuuup. The wait was supposedly 90 minutes according to a sign, but it really ended up being 30. The crew was working hard! We sat into the not-so-comfortable seats, and rode the ride. It was pretty cool, but LONG! The ride seemed to take forever, but I had no problem, the ride was very entertaining and had more than one drop. The main drop is acutally the steepest log-flume drop, if I'm not mistaken. Also, it is considered a coaster! I checked on coasterfanatics.com, and it gave me a coaster credit for it! We walked back over to Marvel, and went onto the Spiderman ride. I had heard lots of good feedback on this ride, and I was excited to ride it. The ride had a 50 minute wait, and seemed to have lots and lots of switchbacks. We got onto the ride, and it suprised me, I didn't expect the ride to be like what it was. It's probably my favorite dark ride. We got into a part when you're getting lifted up to a top of a building, and then the ride stopped.. So we got a second ride, which was nice of the people to do. Next it was my brother's turn again, and he chose to ride Doctor Doom's FEARFall. I really didn't want to ride it because the sign said the line was an hour, but we got into the line and probably waited 5 minutes. I really liked this ride! Although it was short, the launch was very intense! Next up.. He's big, he's bad, oh yeah, and he's green... The Incredible Hulk!! I was really looking forward to this one. 20 minutes said the sign, but I learned not to trust those anymore. This line was probably 10 minutes, and I was put into the third row. The launch was pretty cool, and I like the inversion right out of the tunnel. The cobra roll was awesome, it was cool to look at the lake underneath you. I have to agree with Jackson (Beast 1979) on this one though, it was short.. Like most B&M's. Next up to ride was Deuling Dragons, and like pretty much every other ride in the whole entire resort, I WAS SUPER PSYCHED TO RIDE THEM. Blah blah blah, through Toon Lagoon, Jurassic Park , and then we get to construction and then to a DELICIOUS CASTLE. Guess what was inside the delicious castle? A DELICIOUS QUEUE LINE. Guess what was all around the delicious queue line? DELICIOUS SCENERY. And at the end of that delicious queue line with delicious scenery were two DELICIOUS RIDES. The scenery for the queue line was awesome. I would literally walk through the queue just to see all the theming. I picked ice first, because I've heard that fire was better. I rode ice and LOVED IT!! The close encounters, cobra roll, zero-g roll, and everything were just awesome! Next up was fire! I got on it, and at first I didn't see the ice train. I was like 'Aww, we're not deuling?' The our chain sped up, and caught up with the ice train which was almost to the top of the lift. I thought that was a cool feature. So. How was fire? It was AWESOME! I just liked ice better.. Much better... I hope I don't get bashed for that. By this time it was starting to sprinkle, so my family ran to Seuss Landing to ride Cat in The Hat, so we could do something while it rained. Cat in The Hat was a cool ride, and my whole family rode it. I thought the ride was a little bit intense for a kid's ride. It spun with so much force, it made me hit my head! Islands of Adventure was a really cool park, and I really enjoyed the many many different experiences it provided. The queue lines for each ride were so cool, and entertaining. The rides were themed so well, and made so well. They rode as good as they looked. This is now currently tied with KI for my new favorite park.. Why doesn't beat KI you ask? KI just has a home-y feel to it, and it makes me feel at home when I'm there. I will definately opt for this park next time I visit Florida, and I highly reccomend it over Disney. Stay tuned for the Universal Studios part!
  16. 7-1! I love the first drop so much in that seat.
  17. Nice PTR, I really wish I could've come. Stricker's Grove is a very nice park.
  18. If you're older then Jackson, that mean's I'm the youngest. July 16th, and I just turned 13.
  19. I hate spitting. Hate it. People spit all over KI, 'hawk lugies', and all that junk. I can't tell you how many times I've stepped in someone's spit. GROSS! People also walk around barefoot at KI, I'd never do that as I'd be afraid that I'd step in someone's nasty SPIT! It's gross! Spit into a trashcan or something! I saw kids spit onto the riders of BLSC when they came out of the tunnel, and preceeded to yell at them. Also, people in front of me were spitting while riding Diamondback, trying to see what their spit would do, and their spit went right into my face!
  20. The AquaTrax ride on the Intamin website looks like a lot of fun, but it'd be horrible with capacity. Also, on top of that, CP is a busy park, lots of people go.. I can't imagine what the lines for this would be.
  21. Today, err, yesterday, I while at the park, I heard: Pointing to AE: 'Whats that?' -random teen 'Oh thats the new water ride' -other random teen On Diamondback's final brakes: 'I loved this!' -random person 'Yeah! Me too! What was your favorite part?!' -random person's friend 'That part at the top of the fourth hill where there's a brake, I loved that!' -random person HIS FAVORITE PART WAS A TRIM BRAKE.
