  1. Kings Island is like soooo corny when it comes to announcements about Haunt. Come on.
  2. I remember there was a haunt that went back by WWC when HH was FF. Anyone remember this? I think it would be cool, considering those woods are creepy at night.
  3. Okay, WOW! I have been waiting on this for a while! I never knew you posted it in here! Thanks Paul, great pictures as always.
  4. I believe I already made a thread like this.. Oh well. Steel: B&M Wood: GCII (From what I've ridden, they're so much fun!)
  5. Nice pictures! I really want to ride Afterburn!
  6. I find this sad.. I really hoped I could ride it someday. And its the rides 25th anniversary? I guess if its sooooo much money in mechanincs and repairs and stuff, then they're doing a good thing.
  7. Looks like fun! I want to go ride Voyage NOW!
  8. Great PTR! I really want to ride Griffon and Alpengeist!
  9. This ride has the weirdest track I've ever seen.. I can't wait to ride it when I go next year!
  10. I think definately Manta and Diamondback will be in the top 3. I'm not sure what will win, though.
  11. Uhh...so a major waterpark gets 950,000 guests in 9 months and that's past their attendance goal, and yet Diamondback has over 1,000,000 rides in just 4 months? Jackson, confused.... Yeah and just to think, not everyone in the park rides Diamondback, so we've had way over 1 million people just visit the park!
  12. Take the time to try the Haunt attractions some of them look really good but the ones I tried last year was just plain stupid.(Urgent Scare and Cornstalkers) I know. Urgent Scare was not scary at all. It was just really gory. Kind of like that one movie... "Haunting in Connecticut". Haunting in Connecticut was too scary! It had many jumpy parts that scared me.. So be quiet I agree somewhat though, I left the theater not scared really at all.. (SORRY I COULDN'T RESIST) -Back on topic- Urgent Scare was good on the outside, but it was annoying on the inside..
  13. But surely you can feel the second one, it hangs you! I like that one.. It's the only good part of the ride!
  14. Keep in mind the general public and media are totally clueless when it comes to these things..
  15. Lady standing under the Diamondback sign: What's that new one called? The umm Diamond.. Diamond.. Lady's friend: Diamondsnake! Its amazing to me how many people can't read signs.
  16. I noticed there's a Diamondback seat under the train storage laid on a trashcan, I noticed inside the fence thing between Rivertown Junction and Diamondback's queue there's a test seat in there. I also noticed you can see inside of the top of Drop Tower at night, it was kinda cool. I also noticed you could see the little pond that's part of WWC from Diamondback.
  17. Great! I'm excited to go! Thanks.
  18. I like brown the best. I got my first ride on that train, and for that, it is my favorite.
  19. Amen to that! Stop the coaster hate! Every coaster offers a different experience, and if you don't like the coaster and the experience it brings to the table, that's fine, but I don't think you should hate it.
  20. I plan on trying to make a trip out there next summer, and while they probably won't have a new ride by next year (knock on wood) I'd really like to see a nice, long, but SMALL steelie in there. A big steel coaster would, in my opinion, take the magic out of HW.
  21. Yeah, I was one of the people who said they were going to leave a voicemail and never followed through. I guess it's because I don't have any questions or anything? I'll listen to this one again and see if I can think of a good question or comment. But you can be expecting one from me soon! Count on it!
  22. I totally agree with this and your first post. There is SO much land back there, and if you include some of the old Lion Country land, that could be a whole new area! I think a nice B&M Invert could fit back there easily.
  23. AE, and what would really complete it is if they planted some big trees in between certain areas of the ride. It'd give it a more 'Jungle' feel. I still love it though, more than BLSC.
  24. Ooh I know who you're talking about. And, Diamondback at night is purely amazing.
  25. Your daughter is so cute! Silver Dollar City is a great park, and has some hidden gems (Fire In The Hole, Powder Keg). Glad to see you had a good time. Did you go to the Marvel Cave while there? It's amazing!
