  1. Are watershoes (aquasox) allowed on the water rides? Some parks do (Spalshin' Safari)... some don't (Six Flags St. Louis)... so thought I'd ask. If they're not allowed, is there a place to easily leave flip flops (or crocs) at the entrance to the ride or something? We were just in Splashin' Safari the other day & the concrete was SO hot -- heat index was around 105 degrees, and our feet would have been burning without the water shoes... so just curious what to expect as we head to KI next week.
  2. I realize now that Spirit Song is at the end of our vacation week -- so I'm trying to figure out whether to just go to KI earlier in the week and skip SpiritSong, or plan our time at KI during SpiritSong, as we'd really enjoy several of the concerts. I'm concerned about the crowds during the concert days -- I'm guessing they're are large crowds those days? Anybody have experience? We want to have time to ride stuff without standing in line all day, but at the same time, the concerts would be very cool... Maybe if we ride stuff Wed & Thurs? Then focus only on the concerts Fri/Sat and do something else during the daytime hours? or are the concerts all day Fri/Sat? Thanks in advance for any help.
  3. thanks so much for the warm welcome & replies. I think we'll probably plan on spending 2 days at KI as we want to have time to see/do other stuff as well. I'll check into the online price for the 2 day tickets... sounds like a good deal. any other recommendations on what to do in the area? We're Cardinal fans, so we're planning on taking in a couple of baseball games when they're in town. We'll probably have another 2 days to sightsee, maybe 3... thinking of the aquarium, the fire museum, and possibly another waterpark. Thanks again -
  4. planning a vacation to Cincinnati this summer... trying to figure out what kind of passes to get and how many days to spend at King's Island. I have 2 kids, one loves roller coasters & will want to ride them all. The other will probably ride as many as they are tall enough for (just over 48 inches now), but will want to take in some kiddie rides as well. Planning to visit on weekdays in July. Do we need more than 2 days to ride everything including the waterpark section? Thanks!
