  1. I admit I had a pretty nasty panic attack the first time I rode it, although it wasn't so much because of the restraints it was more to do with my HUGE fear of heights. I still get a bit of the panicked feeling when I make it to the platform, but between the angle of the seat and stapling myself in (yeah, yeah) together with a deep breath I'm usually good to go. I sometimes even feel safer on the ride than I do driving up 71 to get to the park! I'm still working on keeping my eyes open while going up the lift hill though... You'll ride it if/when you're ready to... just wanted to mention someone else gets those feelings too and survived (and LOVES it - at this point the fear is part of the fun for me). Last night we got row 15... I don't think I stopped giggling the entire ride! So much fun! One of my friends summed it up best when she saw our picture, "That is a look of pure joy on my face!"
  2. Newbie to the forum here... I can attest to a lot of change lost on DB... the last time we rode it, someone lost what seemed to be an entire pocketful of change before even leaving the station. When I heard the "clink clink clink" of change falling onto the floor of the train, I knew we were in for an interesting ride. At the crest of each hill, there were more quarters, dimes, nickels floating right in front of our faces (one of the nickels even hit my boyfriend in the face). The BF's brother likened it to effects straight out of The Matrix the way the change just seemed to hover in mid-air...
