Thanks. Didnt know the 3 Caballeros was a movie. Now that makes sense. So now every character I mentioned has a link back to a movie with its corresponding country/location. Not sure how you do a Frozen 2. They pretty much wrapped up all of the plot points. Unless you look at the kids of one of the main characters (like LIttle Mermaid 2...) Personally, I would much rather have a Big Hero 6: 2 or Wreck it Ralph 2 as their appears to be more a build world with those 2 movies (similar to Toy Story).

Dont forget that the sister station of 700 WLW (1530) is the home of the U of L radio network. Not a stretch to buy a station wide commercial, or it may have been part of the deal that X number of U of L commercials are broadcast over sister stations...

WDW "Best Day Ever" Promo

Got myself and my family booked! Dinner reservations already made! Just waiting for the FP+ window to open up. and honestly, if you are looking at a 3-5 day ticket you are looking at about a 30$ increase for the full 5 days.... I personally dont think its too expensive. Plus with all of the new stuff coming in, they have to raise capital one way or the other... -
I dont disagree, but to point to Frozen and say "hey wait" but ignore Belle in France, Alice in the UK, Donald in Mexico, Mary Poppins in the UK, Mulan in China, Aurora in the UK, Snow White in Germany, Winnie the Pooh in the UK, Aladdin and Jasmine in Morocco.... To me putting Elsa and Ana in Norway is not a stretch. You have the characters everywhere else in that showcase..... I know each character I mentioned has some version of their story originating in the location in which they are having a meet and greet (well, maybe not Donald Duck, but he is wearing a big hat), but Frozen has its story's roots in the Nordish traditions. I still dont get the hate on Frozen. If you dont like it cool, but I dont get why people have to consistently talk about why its a bad movie. Sort of like why people feel having to bad talk Intamin or or or...

Are you trying to imply that a man such as Hart would be so unscrupulous that he would fudge numbers to ensure he makes money? I dont know about you, but when I look at a crowd of park goers, I can totally tell that about 1/4-1/3 are from another state maybe even planet.

In the video that was just posted what ride can be seen above the tree line at 4:40?

I sort of feel this is a chicken/egg situation. If there had existed a highway/byway during the Sea World/Geauga Lake days of the 70s, then possibly the infrastructure would have grown as well and possibly been ready for the influx of the masses..

I sort of wonder how things would have changed for Geuga Lake if there was a high or byway that went there. Crowds may have been easier ton control etc.

And please, I dont want anyone to think, I want all of the smokers out of the park. I am fine with them being in the park and having an area, I just question the locations that KI has put them in. Off the top of my head here are the locations that are smoking areas In Coney Mall, located in the middle of the strip just past basketballs before you get to the Cafe, treed, benches, middle of the midway. In RIvertown, 2-4 benches located infront of the Potato Works next to the Basketballs, 2 feet from the main path Tower Gardens (as mentioned before). Not sure if there are any other locations but we seriously couldnt find any better locations that are just off of the main path? In Coney Mall, you have an abandoned ride Pad next to Dinos Alive (throw some benches and maybe some umbrellas and it would be nice and off the path or down near The Vortex just past the bathrooms. In Rivertown you have an abandoned Que area that goes back just far enough off of the main path. Centrally, anywhere but Tower Gardens. As No Chickens said, you could put it in the corner....

Haha he will be two this year. He needs roughly 3 feet of sleeping space haha

I have stated before. I have a little guy. There are very few places we can go in the park for him to nap while we sit. We can go into the kid changing area (which is awesome by the way, Air conditioning, changing tables, clean bathrooms, Charlie Brown cartoons for the little guy to calm down, wonderful) but sometimes on a nice day it would be nice to sit in a location and people watch while he sleeps in the chair or wagon. We can go to the Chicken Shack because it's covered or ??? I wish Tower Gardens was not a smoking area and was just a pleasant spot to sit. Same with the smoking area in Coney Mall. Dead smack dab in the middle of the walk way. The only nice place with tree covering. And wait where is the KI hall of fame?

The more I'm around here the more I'm reminded of the discussions that happened in the movie "Now You See Me".... Basically the magician or illusionist draws you in real tight. Concentrate on the small details while missing the big ones....

The mall topic was really fun...

So an IS redo like maybe a new shop or front of a new shop? Maybe a big roller coaster for a ride? Or like a kiddie ride? That would be new for 16 right? In all honesty, if KI came out tomorrow and said "hey for 2016 (I wish 2015) we are giving all the coasters a new coat of a paint, the buttons on Dino's Alive will be fixed, the clock will be fixed in Octoberfest, the flower clock will be better than ever, and a new dark ride in Planet Snoopy I would sign up for my '16 pass right now.

And there was talk that Six Flags over extended that park. It is very possible that the park was on its last legs as a massive park before CF bought it. However, I wouldn't call anyone a conspiracy nut if they believe that when the time came to either make GL a small amusement property or just a water park Kinzel took glee in having the park literally buldoZed.... My question/thought would be for the future of KI. If KI and CP were big competitors in OHio usually you don't buy your competition to make them stronger.
-
So wait, Kinzel over paid for the PP because he really really wanted KI? That sort of makes me think that KI may not have lasted long term if he stayed in power.....
-
I would name it Lion Country Flyover....

Ark Encounter Contract Signed

I'm not a huge fan of Ken Hamm for a few reasons, but I don't think he is ignorant or intolerant. He is actually a relatively intelligent man, and he believes fiercely in his beliefs. I wish I could fight with as much conviction about what I believe as he does. I have covered his talks a few times. Interviewed people attending his talks, but never him. He has a tendency to take science and apply it to the bible instead of applying the bible to science. Depending on how you were taught the Bible is either a collection of stories about God's people chronicling their lives and the path God has set down for us or it is the 100% absolute truth and word of God, any distrust to what is said is blasphemy and punishable by a long warm stay when your life has come to an end. The battle between Ken Hamm and the world is no different that the Protestants and the Catholics or the Christians and Jews or Christians and Muslims. It is part of a belief system. As for me, I tend to believe that science can explain anything but it wasn't done by accident. When learning human anatomy our bodies develop in a very linear progression. If one thing goes wrong or is delayed (even by minutes) everything else can and is thrown off. There is a perfectly useful and easy to understand reason that science provides. However, knowing the reason does not diminish the miracle of the process and make me believe that there is a higher power guiding this. You can choose to believe that God is leading the scientist to unlock the secrets of the universe He has created or you can believe that scientists are trying to prove God wrong. I choose that God is working through the scientific community ... -
I would never qualify morning news/entertainment shows as breaking news. They are not designed to be that way. They are targeted at a certain demo. That demo does not care for breaking news. They want a little bit of national news with a plethora of field good stories and interesting life stories. That is who how the morning shows are organized. If you want news check the evening news which is made for a demo that wants harder hitting news. It makes sense for a multitude of reasons that the mornings shows have a sense of self promotion. For the stations it's easier to get "our" guys to interview. Not to mention that it's a "free" 2-4 minute commercial. Honestly, it's no different than ABC broadcasting the Disney Parade (free programming) l...

Rumor: Gwazi to close in February

Not to mention the higher prices on the coast lines.... The midwest has its faults but its cheaper to live around here. I looked at living in Amaretto Texas and Chicago Illinois. I did live for a year in upsate. I was so excited to move back to Ohio for the cheaper gas and food. Why, may I ask, do you despise the company?
