That actually sounds pretty cool. Racing through the woods, with the elevation changes. Could potentially connect with Coney Mall or X-Base. (Maybe a sci-fi theme of some sort if the latter.)

I recall enjoying Linus' Beetle Bugs as a kid. (Though I'm sure it was called something else at the time.) I would like to see an adult-sized whip ride find a home at KI.

"Something is going down in the woods of Rivertown..." Something is going down?... Could the big box be falling down in the near future? Remember how SOB was shown on the Banshee trailer crumbling?... Could we see something similar tonight with the box? I know the primary construction area appears to be offset from the box, but, if they're adding multiple attractions or this is different than it appears... Maybe? I would be very much ok with this.

As long as Paramount isn't lurking in the woods... That would truly be scary.

I would like to see BLSC go. Particularly because of its piece of prime visual real estate. It's just not a pretty sight, particularly when compared to the scenic antique cars that preceded it in the same location. I have thought that the area could be a great location for a new scenic lake, perhaps with a Ferris wheel next to it. The entrance to the Ferris wheel in Coney Mall, or, possibly, International Street, near the Grand Carousel. Perhaps also a new sit-down restaurant overlooking the lake. Bringing back the cars would certainly be welcomed by me too! Otherwise, I could also see a nice, twisty woodie, maybe with some heavy scenery (trees, shrubs, etc.) around it, looking fantastic there as well.

In reference to the good ol' Splintercat name idea, I found the following tidbit to be interesting in light of the new nighttime-esque teaser images and a nighttime announcement. "The splintercat is a nocturnal feline animal of great ferocity." -Wikipedia, emphasis added https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Splintercat The name seems to fit well with a lot of the teasers. (Falling trees, the cat with the text "Heads up," "the chicken runs at midnight," now the nighttime images and announcement time.) Pointing out an observation.

I've got it! We're getting a giga, a dive, a launch, a woodie, a flume, three flats, and a dark ride! 2017 is going to be epic! 2018 will see the addition of the Rivertown Lodge Hotel and Resort. Meanwhile, back in reality...

Hey! I've been hiding in the shadows for a while, but here I am! I, personally, think that chances are greatest that this will be a coaster. What type, I don't have much of a guess. Aside from odds, my top picks (currently) for what this attraction will be, based on personal preference, are as follows: Log Flume. Whether the old flume stays or goes, I would love to see a highly themed/scenic log flume come to Rivertown. Otherwise, whether they use a great deal of theming or not, a longer, more interesting/exciting log flume (perhaps even including more than one drop) sounds like a great way to traverse the woods of Rivertown. Wooden Coaster. Yes, The Beast is close to this location, but it seems to me like a woodie would "feel" right in this location. I believe it was mentioned earlier in this thread that a woodie could fit the theme of the area well. Besides, woodies just have a certain charm to them, do they not? Also, I think it would be fun to have a woodie that makes use of some modern woodie elements. (See, Outlaw Run) Dark Ride. I think this is probably the least likely given the placement of markings, etc., as has been pointed out regarding flat rides and a dark ride, if I'm not mistaken. I think Rivertown has the potential to provide a good environment in which to set a dark ride, but I don't think this attraction will be a dark (or, not entirely a dark--I could, perhaps, more easily see a log flume or coaster that is partially enclosed, providing an indoor/outdoor themed experience.)
