While departing Kings Island this evening, our last ride was on Flight deck. I looked over and, to my amazement, Son of Beasts Lift hill lights were fully illuminated! Has this happend since they've started the deconstruction? It's kinda like, sonnys last whimper...

Man Nice Bump!! I think From the paramount era, I would take the flying eagles and, believe it or not, Flight Commander!! Loved that ride!!

In other news, Weebles Wobble, but they don't fall down..

I rode all the little coasters at the carnivals and stuff, but my first real rollercoaster ride was the one, the only, screeching eagle at Americana. Loved it!!

Just recently took a trip to Six Flags St. Louis and was intrigued by an Add on they do with their Season passes. They offer an Add on for $69.99 that Allows the pass holder to have 2 Meals while inside the park for every operational day the park is open for said Season. I think this would be an Awesome addition for Our Beloved Park and would definitely consider buying the add on for myself and my family. Eating a Dinner with a Family of 5 in Kings Island can be very costly and this would more than pay for itself over the course of the season. What Say you Oh Wise KI Central Forum members?

If memory serves me right, at some point last year, they actually did fill the water area on blsc, but there was no splashdown. Just water in the first basin. It wasn't just rainwater either because you could see the water recirculating. So at least as of last year, that effect could have still been used.

I was at that same show with Little Domino, err Dominic. Lol! Poor Kid couldnt take a Hint to get off the stage could he? .

After having visited Six Flags St. Louis this past week, I would love to see a smaller wooden coaster the likes of American Thunder (Evel Knievel) to be placed in Action Zone. Thought that coaster was Very fun and would be a great fit over there..

....Turns Out, New Cars were, essentially, the Death of SOB.. Lighter cars = No Loop which took ALOT away from this Coaster,,,

King Cobra 7. Kentons cove Keelboat Canal 8. The Actual Pipe organ on the Carousel 9, and Last but certainly not least... Son of Beast...

Reading all these posts about Arrow coasters has me wandering.. just how ling will these coasters be around? Will arrow of course being out of business, I can imagine that its going to be getting harder and harder to get parts for these coasters. As much as I love both Flight Deck and Vortex, with their Maker gone, hoe long can we expect these rides to stick around?

As a long time backer and lobbyist for the reopening and re envisioning of the ride, its a sad day for ne. The Kings Island skyscape will certainly be different without that big wooden structure in the front. As sad as I am to see it go, I am excited to see what the future may hold for the area. There does need to be a plaque or something in that general area that that mentions it though. It was a record breaker and shouldn't just go unknown forever...

...or perhaps if they want to offend, maybe they "Shouldn't" try harder...

The question I have is, If there were people that redeemed their beach season pass for a day pass to Kings Island or a discount on a season pass to Kings Island, will they still be able to use their 2012 beach season pass in 2013?

Thank you all. Very Informative.. Ive only ridden FOF A Handful of times. Previous to Saturday, I think the last time I rode it was when it had the over the shoulder restraints. Which is prolly why I hadnt rode it since. Those restraints hurt so bad. When were they removed and the Lap Bars put in place? Also, Anyone aware of a Video that shows the original Effects in the Que? Its been so long, I cant remember what they were like. I thought the Effects on Saturday evening were decent...

While in line for Flight of Fear on Saturday evening, I noticed something I never did before. On the staircase leading into the spaceship, on the staircase to the left, there is a handicapped stair lift. I normally wouldn't be too interested in this except looking to the bottom of the stairs, there's no way you can get to it. All the que lines are bolted to the ground and there's no way you can get to it. Was this coaster totally handicapped accessable at one point and just not now it is there an alternate route to get onto the ride. The stair lift looked like it had about an inch of dust around and on it...

Actually, they're not greedy by raising the prices on WhinePass, They're Greedy for even having it in the First place. Can't Stand it, never will. Your Allowing people to pay Extra money to get in front of people. It'd be like me going to the front of the line on every ride, giving the person in line 10 bucks, giving them the finger and taking their spot. One of the Stupidest Ideas Cedar Fair has ever come up with. Ok, Thats my Rant.. Moving on.
