  1. I appreciate all your feedback. I would try eBay, but a majority of the items sold on there is used. If any of you would be willing/able to buy a few, I would most willingly send payment to them. Again, I appreciate the help you all have provided thus far!
  2. I was just wondering if PKI is selling any commemorative Beast 25th anniversary souvenirs this season? I've been trying to get a hold of a few t-shirts for myself and a few co-workers here at PGA (we all began at PKI in the mid-90's and transferred). So far, I haven't heard anything on whether or not these exist, and many of my friends that still work at PKI aren't too aware of the gift shops selling them. If any employee or PKI fan knows how to possibly order a few of these shirts (again, if they exist) I'd most appreciate it. As much as I love it here at PGA, I do miss my daily rides on The Beast. Anyways, thanks in advance! -Chris
  3. At PGA the same squares have been showing up around the park, as well. According to our employee newsletter we got, the electrical hookups are for a new group locator system. Each outlet will power a kiosk that guests can go to and will show the location of a member of their party, if they do get lost. Guests just have to purchase a wristband at the main gate in order to use this service at the various kiosks. Not sure if that is exactly what PKI is doing, but it sure sounds like the same thing. -Chris
  4. PGA's Dundee's Outback Shack serves fresh seafood entrees (ie, coconut prawns, fresh battered fish, etc.) and pastas. On the patio, we have the Odwalla Juice Hut which serves smoothies and other fruit drinks. Beastfreak- are you a manager in foods at PKI? I've been in our food department here for four years and recently got promoted to full-time. I never imagined I would be making a career out of this job. Oh well...good times! -Chris
  5. Haha, too bad I missed that during the PGA media day. I was too busy working in our newly themed restaurant, Dundee's Outback Shack. From what I heard, when Jeff and Al went on the slides in their ties and suits, the media flocked over there and took a ton of pics. Sure something you would never see a managment team member from a Six Flags park do. Here's a few other pics I found; http://www.scraig.norcalcoasters.com/PGA/c...falthunder3.jpg http://www.scraig.norcalcoasters.com/PGA/c...effthunder4.jpg Funny stuff! -Chris
  6. Not sure if Paramount's Kings Island will be adding Days of Thunder, but over here at Paramount's Great America we've begun prepping our 2D theater for it's return. The film is currently on order and we hope to have it installed and operating by Memorial Day weekend latest. We're currently working on redoing all the seats. Many of them made a loud noise during the film. Does PKI have this problem with their seats making loud noises during the film? Either way, I'm glad to see it make it's return.
  7. Honestly, what's so bad about the Crocodile Dundee theme? Everyone always mentions and asks what Paramount movie the next attraction could be themed to. I think that the theme works perfectly. It's Austrailian and Paramount Pictures-based. I mean this is just one more step for the park to be more Hollywood-esque. Lastly, I'd expect to see all future additions to have some sort of Paramount theme. It's kind of evident in all of PPI's additions this year.
  8. It seems that Paramount's Great America's Boomerang Bay will be themed and named after the Paramount film Crocodile Dundee. Proof of this is available here;http://www.pgathrills.com/attractions_new.jsp. So, it appears PKI's will also be receiving this name, as well. Pretty cool that they're going to atleast name and theme the water park to a Paramount film that fits with the Australian theme. Anyways, just thought I'd point this out. -Chris
