    Kenevil

I haven't heard about Robbie Kenevil jumping any buses at the KI parking lot. Funny thing is, Robbie uses this juiced up bike and has pretty much sucessfully done every stunt his father tried. Ole Evil Kenevil used a regular bike from what I understand. Interpreter, do you think anyone under the age of 30 would even know who Evil Kenevil is?
  2. ^I don't think it's like the Himalaya rides. The Himalaya rides have bucket cars that swing a little whereas the Bayern Curve was on a track that really resembled coaster track.
  3. I didn't know that about Johnny Rockets. Interesting. I could see it becoming a Coasters. You really wouldn't have to change the theme of Happy Days considering Coasters is a fifties type food stand. You just have to get rid of all the goofy pics of Fonzie and the gang.
  4. I'm not 13 either. I'm 36 and I too loved the way KI was before Paramount. I think a lot of the people frustrated hearing me & others complain about Paramount weren't around before then and have no idea why it's frustrating to us to see the way Paramount did KI. They removed numerous flats and adding nothing to replace them. Not to mention the half-baked movies that were so-so and not really worth theming any ride to.
  5. Yes, CF wanted to buy KI previously. Other than SOB & Delirium, the others I couldl live without. TR sucks and so does IJ.
  6. That sounds like a good idea and something that they could very well do. Most of all, you'd make a few more coins off of the patrons to inflate them.
  7. Just an FYI, but the backhoe is for the new Mega Lemon Chill stand. And TR:TR is being removed for a hyper/giga/inverted/strata/stand up/flying/wood coaster.
  8. ^I agree with you on this. I don't care if KI gets no new ride next year as long as they get rid of everything Paramount.
  9. ^Then someone needs to shoot that little bird. I think CP will always be the flagship park. I could easily see CF selling off some of the land that is not in use as well. They tend to not hold on to any extra land.
  10. Ryan, I want to buy a Platinum Pass, but it's not likely to happen until the 'ol tax return comes. Any idea what the price will be after 11/11?
  11. Ryan, I am jealous. We had a hockey team here in Huntington, WV not too long ago. I really miss going to those games. Watching the Blizzard is how I learned the rules of hockey as I couldn't keep up with the pro games. I am planning a visit to my step-sister and her husband in Columbus and hopefully we will go to a Blue Jackets game. I think it really stinks that ESPN 2 doesn't carry the NHL games any more. My other plans hopefully include buying my first home and moving in. I am trying to buy a house that my grandparents used to own.
  12. ^I've seen similar things at the airport where I work. I was working in the parking lot one evening and went to the terminal to use the bathroom. The janitor was putting signs on three stalls because there was feces all over the place. You could tell that they had bent over at the waist, still standing and relieved himself. It splattered into the two adjacent stalls. Just a complete lack of respect.
  13. ^It could be a pancho too, right?
  14. Yes, Congratulations are definitely in order!
  15. Sandusky does the same thing at least every other year...try to figure out a new way to tax Cedar Point.
  16. It's amazing that CP is even mentioned. They usually don't give out numbers on a park to park basis.
  17. Transformers is a Paramount movie, and it is apparent CF is NOT interested in licensing any Paramount movies, which for the most part, suck.
  18. Well ding dang dogit! I needs me some units then! I am very interested to see the results after 3rd quarter and see just how well HH did if they list that individually.
  19. ^Well, I am saying that it IS a capital improvement, but by some people's standards around here, unless it's a coaster or thrill ride, it's not a capital improvement which isn't so.
  20. My post was not in response to Ryan's post. It's something I've considered for a long time now. I have faith in CF and I think they will be just fine in 5-10 years.
  21. ^Nor would I want them to. I'd rather get those 682ft in a lift hill.
  22. I suppose if Top Gun was getting re-painted, then by some here, that would not be a capital improvement?
