Even if you are right, I doubt I'll think about you. I'm not trying to be mean, I just don't know you. Besides which, a crane only indicates that work is taking place, nothing else. What that work might be, we just don't know.

Ragerunner, the definition of a family ride is not easily cut and dry. First, back in the 70's, when The Beast first opened, my grandfather, whom was in his 60's, rode and loved The Beast. He was not the only older person riding that coaster either. So, wouldn't The Beast in fact be a family ride since I was pretty young, around 8, riding that coaster and my grandfather was in his 60's and there were those riding between those ages? So, to me, The Beast is and always will be a family attraction.

Sounds pretty good to me, Hauntguy!

May I ask, how you know this, Cy?

CP is not running out of room.
-
Cy, are you an employee of KI or CF? If not, then why not tell?

Nope. I find it hilarious! -
Amusement Park Owners Suggest Longer Summers For Students

Sounds like a good idea. -
I think that there is a lot that you are not seeing. Maybe due to it being undergound...don't really know. According to RCDB, it is a two and a half minute ride.

^Well, what changes are they?

I enjoyed the Cornstalkers as well. They scared me pretty good. The Undertaker must stay. I will protest if they don't use him next year. And, it wasn't even because he scared me good. It was just his great evil laugh. I give him a lot of credit for a great evil laugh. I have heard many people try and just don't pull it off. Heck, I've tried and failed at it myself.

^There was construction at GL?
-
^That's cool. It's just that over the last couple of years, you can never tell when it will be working. I noticed that CP's works almost all of the time. Maybe CF can correct the problem or maybe add more web cams to KI. Hopefully, we'll see future construction projects like CP does.

I knew of it. However, I wasn't sure if it is even working or not. Seems to be up and down all the time (pun intended).

^Agreed. Fact of the matter is, I rarely really "hear" the games people because I generally tune them out. This is the best option if you ask me.

^Something about one of the break fins was heavily damaged causing damage to the train itself. Someone else probably knows all of the details.

What I would like to see: 1)Anything Intamin 2)Anything B&M 3)Anything with "Paramount" removed 4)Something added to Coney Mall. Could be a flat, could be a coaster. About the basketballs. They do annoy me a little, but, for the most part, they don't bother me until that person loses control of said ball. About the games. I agree that real "barking" should be used, not Banshee like screaming. Someone needs to train these people about proper distance of microphone to mouth. Some think it belongs inside the mouth, not near it. Although, like Interpreter, I would rather see all microphones done away with and use true Astroland style "barking" in its' place.

Actually it was the First Stand-up Looping Coaster in North America. We don't count the Canadians.
-
^That would be awesome if members of PKIC were the first to ride it upon re-opening.
-
^I have not, but have considered it in the past. I think there's also BBQ grills at your disposal, if I'm not mistaken.
-
Not sure if I'm correct, but I have heard somewhere that King Kobra was not the first stand-up coaster. Something about one was built before it over seas. Anyone heard this?

I agree Interpreter. If you hate the site, then why come back. I don't see any hatred around here. Just disagreements and discussion. I don't detect any flaming going on.

Best Coaster Element Ever Experienced
KIBeast replied to RailRider's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Hard to say. I love the launch of Dragster, but, I also like the inversions of Raptor. My favorite drop is The Vortex. -
It's all good. Sometimes, these threads get de-railed.

Nope. I was just pointing out that the capacity of X flight is not an issue since there are several rides already there that have low capacity, Delirium being one of them. I guess you didn't read the whole thread.
