I like the parking, and the early ride times on Saturdays in April and on Thursdays during the summer. We can usually get on about 6 rides in the Action Zone during the first hour. There are never lines for any of them.

We went on Sunday the 12th and didn't have bad waits at all. We went through the haunted house, the maze and the crypt. Each had about a 30 minute wait and were well worth it. Route 666 didn't open until 8:00 and the line was horrible so we didn't even try it. It would be nice if if could open sooner, but I guess that they have to wait until dark before the effects are any good. The botton line is that if you want to go to fearfest, go late Sunday afternoon instead of Saturday.

I was at PKI on 8/14 and White Water Canyon was open. We rode it twice.

As a matter of fact, KI does owe gold pass holders a special night. We paid a premium for the gold passes last fall and one of the benefits that was advertised was exclusive gold pass holder nights. After the fiasco back in April they should add another exclusive night for gold pass holders in the fall.

Every time I rode it I went there when the park first opened. Wait time is minimal.

I realize that problems happen such as rides breaking down, etc. However, they should not tell season pass holders that there is an exclusive season pass night implying that the park will not be crowded when at the same time passing out free tickets to as many people as they did.

The way that I understand it is that if the serial number on your pass begins with a 9 then it is also a parking permit.

I beleive that this was false advertising. Here is a direct quote from an email that I received from Kings Island: "EXCLUSIVE PASSHOLDER ONLY NIGHTS! SEASON PASS SNEAK PREVIEW NIGHT Friday, April 11, 2003 -- 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm The park will be open exclusively for ALL Paramount's Kings Island Season Passholders from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm. Must present valid 2003 Season Pass photo ID card for entry." I wonder what other benefits Gold passholders are being misled about. Oh well, hopefull we can go back in a few weeks and it will be less crowded. I hope that I didn't waste my money by buying a pass for my family.

BTW, does anyone know if the Gold Pass holders night in May is usually as crowded as last night was? If it is, then I won't waste my time.

I agree that employees should be given passes for their friends and family, but if Kings Island management advertises that a night is exclusively for season pass holders, then only season pass holders should be admitted on that night. Anything else is false advertising.
