That's okay though, cause I knew the park would be busier then usual today as it was Spirit Song going on. But once I heard that SOB opened back up I just had to come ride it. That was my only goal for today to ride SOB, well I rode it a total of 3 times today. What are you my thoughts? Is it better? First ride I was in 6-1, I can tell they have done a lot of work to the ride, the only part I felt that it was rough was the bottom of the rose bowl. But not as rough as before in my opinion. After waiting about an hour for my first SOB ride of the season, I was hot, so I went and rode Congo Falls to cool off. Then I went to see the Twistin to the 60's show. Well done show, I enjoyed it. After the show, I rode both Racers and then Vortex. After Vortex I wanted to hit up SOB again in the front car. As I was walking it started to rain, when I got to SOB they were still running, but shortly shut it down for rain. It stopped raining, and they resumed operation but only ran 2 trains, and shut it down again. 15 minutes later they opened it back up. So This time I waited 1 1/2 hours for a front seat ride. I like it in the front too, but the bugs in the rose bowl wasn't very pleasant. So since it was already getting close to closing, I decided to go ahead and get back in line for SOB. This time I rode in 2-1, and I felt it was a lot rougher in this seat. I felt roughness I didn't feel in the front or the back, I was also in the blue train this time, the 2 previous rides of the day was in the red train. So not sure if that made a difference or not. Needless to day, I think the SOB has recovered, is it smooth? No, but it didn't bother me half as bad as in previous years. I think everyone will have there own opinion on SOB, this is mine. I also really miss the loop. Also I ran into Delirium Guy (Todd) while in line for the my last SOB ride of the night. It was nice seeing ya buddy, sorry we couldn't talk much. However though the red train did test more often then the blue train did. I'm sure though the blue train had the proper amount of testing though.
