Kawana
I'll try to spare everyone the agony of my first TR and make this one more bearable. Got to the park around 9:15ish and bought our Platinum passes. No sales tax= happy me. After the National Anthem, we headed towards AZ, and after the ropes dropped we got two rides on Flight Deck in. We were probably the second train out, and when we came back, I asked the ride op if we could just stay in our seats as no one was waiting yet. She told us that we had to get out and re-enter the line. Once we got back to the station she said " I just found out you could've stayed in." Oh, well. Next was SOB. Pretty fun ride, and the angles on the drops are insane. After that was Delirium which is too much fun. The Racer was calling so we gave it a shot on the Red side. We lost our race by a ton, but it was fun to go forward on that side, if not a little weird. Next up was Firehawk. What can I say about this ride that hasn't already been said? It's so fun. After Firehawk was FOF. Line was short, and the ride didn't disappoint. Needing nourishment, we left and had a biscuit. Lunch in our bellies, we came back and rode the Viking Fury. An oldie but goodie. Since we were right there, I wanted to see the County Line show. It's a pretty good show, and I have to give the performers their props. Especially Josh, that guy is doing three different shows this year. What a professional he is. I enjoyed the show and recommend it to everyone, at least once. The Beast was our next destination. After a long wallk around through Nick Central, we were there. A decent wait was had and then we boarded. The Beast was in a bad mood though, and the restraint on my left leg was killing me. The ride was awesome as usual, but The Beast was testy. I would like to commend The Beast staff. Of all the crews, The Beast's were just as professional as you would want to see. I was very impressed. Polite, purposeful, and on top of things, awesome job, guys. I even saw two associates ride with little ones. That impressed me even more. I decided to try my luck at a game of skill and win myself an evil looking Gremlin plush. I have to say that me trying to finesse that ball in that little hoop had to have looked like Shaq trying to shoot on a 6 foot rim. By this time we were both exhausted, so we decided to visit the SOB and Delirium once more. Delirium is fun, but the restraints are torture on my shoulders. I only saw one person from the forums, but I'm sure I'll see more in my coming visits. Overall a great trip to start of the season.

Kawana
Sounds like a great trip and from the sounds of it you didnt have to wait in too many lines. Lucky you! Jasper---We were lucky. I think the longest line of the day was The Beast, and that's only because I waited for the front seat. Avatar---It was a great trip and I can't wait for my next one. Possibly next Saturday, if I'm fully recovered.
