italianchef
Today I went to Kings Island alone with my son. The park was relatively crowded and there were many rides not operating because of employees still being in school. We arrived at 11 a.m. and rode Scooby Doo and the Haunted Castle first. My son, who is 4-years old, scored 60 to my 660. It was the highest score of his life!!! Then at his request, we rode it two more times. Next we rode Fairly Odd Coaster three times. Then my son rode Blue's Skidoo alone. After that we had lunch at the Festhaus and it was neither delicious nor reasonably priced. We then rode Little Bill's Giggle Coaster twice, followed by Nick-o-Round, Plankton's Plunge, and Phantom Flyers. Then we rode Fairly Odd Coaster two more times. Then my son rode Nick Jr. Drivers three times, Jimmy Neutron's Atom Smashers twice, and Backyardigan's Swing-Along three times. We then rode Lazytown Sportcopters. After that, I bought my son a shirt at Nickelodeon Store and blueberry ice cream. We finished the day by riding Kings Island and Miami Valley Railroad three times! By then it was 6 p.m. and I took my son home. He fell asleep in the car as it was a busy day. I love riding the "big" thrill rides at Kings Island with my friends. But doing the small rides with my son is emotionally more satisfying. It's magical. Happy Memorial Day Weekend! Italian Chef

Imagine how impressed and the braging rights he'd have if his dad helped guide his shots or let him win once?
fan of beast
sounds like a great day. i take my 7 yr. old grandson. i enjoy watching the progression of moving up to *bigger* rides. last year we got him on backlot. this year he's getting more daring. racer,ae,and flight deck. he even asked to ride the front of flight deck on our last trip together. the only thing i have never figured out is that when he was smaller, he would say that some of the rides in nick were too tall or too fast, but his favorites were scrambler and shake, rattle, and roll. BavarianBeatle
And there's more to come.... This year my kids, who are 8 (this week) and 9, have discovered that they can scare teenage girls (who are scared to begin with) by keeping their hands up on SOB. Maybe I've gone too far..................
