Klown Band and Hanna Characters and parking

Did anyone see the Klown Band or Hanna Characters?, We were all over the park from 10am to 10pm and didn't see them.

Was anyone else unhappy with not being able to park in the gold lot? The traffic control getting into the park was poor at best. A single lane! Mason PD did a good job on getting people out of the park this time.

I wasn't there but you can see pictures of the band and the HB characters in the KI Central Photos section. I know that's not quite what you were looking for but it does prove they were there.

I saw the clown band as soon as the park opened when they came out of the theatre.. The hannah barbara characters were there all day in front of the theatre but I didnt see them when we got back from the jump.

Yes we spent the whole day watching all the extra entertainment and it was excellent, they did had guests a special booklet telling what entertainment was going on listing where and when.

I enjoyed the dj in front of the theater...I nearly fell over when he mentioned Dixie Electric Co..wow..talk about a blast from the past...spent many nights there. (This is where everyone under 40 says "what is the Dixie Electric Co.")

What is the Dixie Electric Co? I thought the Dj was great!!! I also bought myself some 75 cent popcorn.. way too salty, but cheapest popcorn in the park

The Dixie was a disco on rte 4 in Hamilton...it later changed it's name to Crackers..and then Bonkers I think. The place was HUGE! It was the in place for quite a few years. I think there may have been one in Dayton as well.

Str8 folks? I didn't go there to dance...I went there to drink beer and pick up women. At the Dixie..if you couldn't pick up a woman there...you had to be a real loser.
